Disgrace, bottom of the table and nothing is being done about it.

Absolutely sick and tired of this shambles, very close to finding other things to do on a Saturday, especially after all the hard work that’s been put in over the last few years, we never ever learn , we are a Dam joke !!!!

Comparing our moves in the market to a team like Sc*nthorpe is just so depressing. We were on similar points a few weeks ago and they’ve since signed 2/3 Championship quality players.
We must be so badly managed financially if we can’t compete with clubs like Burton and Accrington who don’t run at a loss. They can’t have half our budget realistically, a total rethink is needed in terms of our recruitment.

Unfortunately, like someone mentioned earlier as well - I don't feel there is really anyone left (exc shop workers etc) in the club that really cares for Bristol Rovers. Wael & his bandits are a joke GC is like a dog with his head out the window, just amazingly thankful to be chosen for the ride Brookman walked out DC & MS gone (MS was a City supporter ffs) What do we have left?

Sounds like we might get CB cover with Menayese going out on loan and that will be our lot. I thought GC sounded less optimistic about any other signings than he has been all month. Really don't think we're going to get the striker we so desperately need. So frustrating when all our rivals have strengthened. Why not take a punt on someone like Rowe at Fylde who has scored 50 goals in the national league over the past 18 months? Yes he'd cost 250k+ but surely it's got to be worth a go. What chance have we got if we stick with what we've got? Not one of our striker have more than 2 league goals to their name and we're 28 games in.
Even more annoying when you consider 8 players or staff have either left or gone out on loan: D.Clarke, M.Stewert, Martin, Menayese, Broadbent, Russe, Baghdadi and Mensah.

I think we've reached the point where being the new Crazy Gang is now something we can only dream of achieving.

This makes for a depressing read but I'm starting to come round to some of the more critical posters point of view. We've not progressed since finishing 10th in L1 and over the last year or so a cloud has been over the club. Really hope we can snap out of it but as long as we don't make serious plans to upgrade the infrastructure and underinvest in the playing squad, things are just going to get worse.
Success and ambition are linked, we had a lot of both in DC's heyday but since the AQ's cancelled UWE, successive players left and slowly the momentum ebbed away. The powers that be need to realise this and put their hands in their pockets to stop the decline, I fear that in GC we aren't going to have a manager that asks questions of them and put pressure on them, which is frustrating.

Wael release some funds or accept we will be relegated Already accepted it, no signings says it all. I would be quite happy to carry him down Gloucester road to the nearest cash point, but it would appear our owners who were quite happy to get on board after our promotion back to the league have now disappeared without trace at the first sign of trouble. A defeat tomorrow night will rubber stamp our fate imho.

The lack of urgency is mind blowing I've supported the Gas since 1974 and this season we went back to the East stand, paying more than 82 ers watching championship football, we cannot get a beer at half time and have watched dross, it will be soon they ask us to get our money out..............................

If and it’s a big if - there was interest in the club from a consortium in October of last year, why the hell did Wael decide to hold on? Seems to me that it’s more about ego than anything else!

It's clear - our new Professional approach throughout the club is completely ineffective at achieving anything. At least when we had enthusiastic amateurs in charge, they were just that - enthusiastic. The current regime is clearly the complete opposite.

Do you any supporting evidence that bennett is on £4k a week? There or there abouts, anyway. I know because it’s been suggested in a number of threads and interviews that it took a decent wage to tempt him to us, and that ended up with him being one of the highest earners if not the highest earner at the club. I don’t know exactly what rodman and sercombe are on and if they hit below or surpass Bennett, but I thought the 4k mark was a fairly commonly accepted ballpark figure? I’ve definitely seen it stated with some confidence on a number of threads. Even if it is slightly less, the point was that wages add up to a substantial fee over a year, and championship level loanees take a substantial wage unless some agreement is reached with their parent club Well the average weekly wage according to the footballers v fans website[footy.com] is £2,312 with rovers reported average for last season £1,500. That site and others might not be spot on but For me £4k for even our highest earners seems way to high.

Rumours of Ellis Harrison going out on loan by Thursday If he does', we will not be his destination. There is no way our owners will cough up any money to pay part of his Championship wages.
