My concern is his lack of use of his 3 permanent signings, if the plan is to build for next season why have they been given so little time on the pitch ? Josh Barrett of the 9 games played since his signing he has played 268 minutes out of a possible 810 Cian Harries 5 minutes from 5 games James Daly not a solitary minute I don’t think Daly and Harries have participated in a Development game, not sure about Barrett Whilst he has been happy to play the 2 loan wingers who probably will not be with us next year, why have his permanent signings been starved of action? This doesn’t make sense to me. I was also interested to see the comments that Tony Mowbray made about Harries in 2015 when mentioning loaning him out “ in a year maybe 2 when he bulks up” 5 years later and he doesn’t look to have the physique of a lower league centre back.

Agree with those posters who say give him to end of season. If this current pattern of poor results continues, he has to go. I'm saying that as a supporter of BG but there comes a time when a review has to be undertaken.
To date it hasn't been good. One win in 15. Slipped from talk of automatic promotion to hysteria of relegation. In truth, neither outcome was going to happen. However, it will be too late to reconsider his position next Christmas. By that time, on current form, we will be virtually relegated. GC performed a miracle last season to keep us up. Unlikely to happen a second time.

Daly has been injured, Barrett is still to fat but Harries - not sure really?

So Daly and Harries have played a combined 5 minutes between them and Barrett's appearances restricted by the size of his gut. That all sounds very reassuring in terms of player recruitment.

Stuart Taylor and Rio Ferdinand were not particularly bulky players but we're damned good ball playing centre halves. Give Harries time!!

Rio Ferdinand not bulky? The guy was both very physically imposing and good with the ball at his feet. That's why he cost a lot of money.

I've yet to see any evidence BG is management material. Granted, he may be a decent coach, but that doesn't make him a decent manager.
I agree we may as well give him until the final game now as nothing really to lose. But anything less than 16 points and he has to go in my opinion.
I think he thinks he's a hell of a lot better than he is - seems to fancy himself as the next Pep Guardiola but the bloke needs to wake up FFS; we're League One Bristol Rovers without a proverbial pot to p*ss in.
Mix it up, adopt a plan B, don't be afraid to play ugly and - crucially - win the odd football match.

At this moment in time I agree give him time, as in end of this season
But what I fear most .. we have a managerial version of Tom Nicholls

I actually hope BG stays. There's something there, he's trying to build us a squad, a young squad, that given the time, the training, the match experience,I'm sure it will come good. Results haven't gone well but it's not as if we've been crap. To be honest, being Rovers, having gone through what we have I thought we'd all give the under dog a bit more support.

Apparently we’d had the best transfer window in years in January so everyone was saying. Think some people are getting carried away with this appointment and his signings. Weird considering I seem to recall much more negativity around GC and his signings in the summer and he’d already earned his stripes. Still time to turn it round though - no pressure of a playoff push any more to content with.
