Making the club sustainable. I honestly cannot think of any club in Div 1 or 2 that can claim it. If you want to be sustainable, you need a winning team, an up to date ground that can be open 7 days a week for functions or events. That's technically advanced so as to need less staff. And a restaurant that is open every evening and even a hotel bolted on to it. and more importantly, the supporters enjoy going to, where they dont get wet, they have a clear view, and they have good facilities such as the bogs with working taps and decent had driers. Food outlets that are efficient and not too expensive. A superstore, with a bigger range in than ours. Flexible ticketing. Season tickets that can be priced in a way to encourage more people to buy one. You are not going to do it by selling players alone. Everyone knows that, because like this, and probably next season we dont have anyone worth selling for more than a few thousand. As long as we have a ramshackle ground that is limited in capacity, parking, toilets, food outlets and in need of constant maintenance then you can forget the word SUSTAINABLE Peterborough seem to have achieved that model? Although they are the exception and it didn't happen overnight. Probably the best model to follow is Luton's, as somehow they are surviving in the Championship with a ground almost as bad as the Mem and are hardly in a great catchment area for football supporters. As far as LJG clearly having a dislike for JB and suggesting that we only have success when recruit from within, does he really feel the likes of Hargreaves and Mansell can take the club forward, as they seem the only potential management team with any Rovers connections. I wouldn't be surprised if Hargreaves isn't one of the club's employees facing the chop, given how few players step up from the Academy/DS to the 1st team. When was the last one to step up and hold down a 1st place, Kilgour? Peterborough better hope they can continue finding gems to sell because their accounts showed a loss of £5.5 million for 2018/19 from day to day trading. The latest accounts revealed an overall loss of £3,469,722 for the year ending June 30, 2020. The Peterborough Telegraph said when reporting on the accounts "Posh continue to function thanks to the generous support and financial backing of co-owners Darragh MacAnthony, Dr Jason Neale and Stewart Thompson."

No, you are wrong and what you are saying is an "artificial fiction". He left them 10th in the table, three points off the top 6. Look, mate. I know you've got a dogshit record of backing managers but you can't make the Joey Barton fairytale into something it's not. He's done f**k all as a football manager and, sadly for us, continues to do f**k all as a football manager. No-one, and I mean no-one, except possibly you, would say that a manager who got us into the L1 playoffs had done f**k all for us. But if he does it for another club, then presumably it doesn't count. And this was Fleetwood we're talking about here. Not Sunderland or Ipswich. His current record is indeed terrible, but you seem to be harping on relentlessly (as you always do when you've got an idea in your head) about his past record and denying factual achievements. Pointless unless you just love arguing.

Which is why on his Wikipedia page it doesn't list "Lost in the play offs" under Honours as a manager.

Well let’s hope not , especially for his wife and children . If he thought about his wife and children more perhaps he would be able to curb that nasty little streak he has.

Feels to me like the reset it due now that some of the project failed. We discovered that you need a blend of youth and experience. We discovered that getting ball playing defenders and technically gifted players doesn’t work without the grafters around them to give them the freedom. We discovered that the concept of possession football only really works if the team are all on the same page and can play it with confidence. We started off all excited and ready to implement, then Ipswich exposed us 3-0 and it evaporated from there. We discovered that when you switch up tactics from the tippy tappy to the direct game you need the right component up top. We discovered that changing 80% of the squad in the middle of a pandemic when you are not allowed to socialise probably ain’t gonna help team spirit.
The great reset will not change the clubs desired DNA it will enhance it under Joey and Clint.
The great reset will see the types of players we are crying out for added (new spine anyone?) to the players still here
The great reset will result in success - these are opinions UTG

If every person who committed a crime thought about the consequences on their family , a lot of crimes wouldn’t be committed, unfortunately human beings don’t always react that way - it must be nice for you observing the misdemeanours of others from lofty heights .

I That’s pretty stupid implying that and defending a man who doesn’t learn from his mistakes who has a wife and children who look up to him. Surely you can see that? But It’s not a question of observing him from lofty heights as I’m observing from ground level.

So why did TW Wael Garner get it so bloody wrong and why wasn’t anything done in January. It’s been such an almighty f**k up from start to finish.
