JB said in his interview post Swindon that he was here for "the great reset" and that "plans have been in place for the past 3-5 weeks". Thoughts on what the great reset will be ??

Guessing he's here whatever division we're in next season and had the board's backing to make big changes. Problem is we did that last summer and it's been a disaster. No Rovers fan could ever complain of it being boring being a Gashead. It's either a good year or two or several years of fighting for our lives.

I'd like Starnes and/or Widdrington to come out and explain this requirement for a "great reset". We did a reset already with our philosophy, which on paper is a sensible one. Why has it gone so tits up? To be frank, if JB and Tisdale before him, have both stated that the club is in such a state behind the scenes, surely either JB, or TW's positions are untenable? How can our director of football and CEO have presided over such inadequacy, that Tisdale and Barton have both said needs a serious revamp?

Nothing great about it,when I stood on the pitch after the daggers game I actually thought we were finally heading in the right direction, sadly as happens in life it's gone the other way, garner could have been another wenger but sadly turned out to be a disaster from which I'm not sure we will ever recover from. After the best part of fifty years watching I sadly don't have much optimism left,if we ever get back watching I'll be there but as I get older the effort is harder and the hope of any new ground or championship football still a distant dream. Had we brought Joey Barton in at the end of last season or even when we brought Tisdale in then with the January window or last summer I am sure we would have seen a completely different set of players. To stay up now we need to change from one extreme to another by suddenly becoming " a promotion chasing set of results against the better sides in the division bar Northampton and with worse players than we started off with the loss of Nicholson and Rodman. This season is just one disaster followed by another and has had relegation written all over it for a long time.

He's gonna turn us off and turn us back on again. Hope he remembers to count to ten before turning us back on or it won't work.....

Do we know which players will still be under contract after this season?
My main concern has gone from relegation to how we now offload the tripe brought in over the past 12-18 months.

okay he is here for "The Great Reset" (Is that another one of his intellectual references?)
I get that he wants to rebuild like a lot of managers would do, after all that is what BG was trying to do by changing the ways of the club, but much like BG, outside of them both 'speaking well' what is JB actually doing to convince anyone he is the right man to be entrusted with it?
you can argue that if we are going to do a reset, we may as well have stuck with Tisdale

Results might not be too different, and performances might still be wanting in many ways, but they’re night and day from those under Tisdale and Garner.

How can our director of football and CEO have presided over such inadequacy, that Tisdale and Barton have both said needs a serious revamp? Rovers were decades behind the times when DC was here and he often stated it. BG made inroads on some things that needed improving . The truth is boards at the club took their eye off the ball as soon as rovers got to the Mem. Perhaps they thought job done ? Who knows. The completion of the training ground will probably rectify some of the issues. The club is still 20 years behind the times and needs to get with changing else its an uphill struggle to compete. Im not sure pointing fingers at current staff will solve long term issues. Unless it is actually those staff who are preventing the correct changes at the club.

I think the gulf between Garner (never played no managerial experience) then Tisdale (broad management knowledge of L2) and finally JB (played at highest level) tells me that JB will be a good sounding board for Wael to give him an insight into how things should and do get run in the real football world
Wael for all his good intentions (and they are many imo) probably lives in a nice cosy bubble being spoon-fed by "experts" he has brought in and trusted
I will never forget the smug look on Widdringtons face after the Pompey win. the casual, "they are good players, what's the issue" interview. Coming home to roost now tho....
JB and co have arrived and gone "who does this", "who does that", "where is this" "where is that", "why like that" and a million other questions and has most probably been given blanks looks and uncomfortable squirms
JB is a clever unit from the back streets. He will suss pretenders out pretty darn quick and I think he already has and will become more and more vocal about weeding out the issues in the coming weeks
Wael can't not back him, notwithstanding what the beak might say in June to JB, surely even Wael wouldn't reduce us to a laughing stock and present us with our eighth (including caretakers) manager in two years??
I think the sands of time for Widdrington must be running out. JB will have forgotten more connections than TW will ever have had.
