Steve Lansdown: Bristol City owner open to selling the club for 'right deal' AKA - I'm fed up with pi**ing my money up the wall on this useless bunch of sheeetheads.
Oh dear, only 38 million in debt and there long time saviour has had enough!.

My god without him they would have been gone into oblivion decades ago. The fact is he has had enough…… There surely now there is only one club in Bristol and funnily enough they are on the rise with a young manager and very young board looking to aspire to bigger things.
Whist … The sh*T are looking tired and lacking in ideas and that is coming from the top.
Time to retire guys it is looking very jaded over at the Gate.
What a great way to retire as …..they are relegated and we are promoted in the same year. Now that would be fantastic eh! It really is possible and let’s be honest who would invest in that money pit. If .SL cannot make it work with his financial clout . No one can.and that’s being very truthful because he is. Successful in the financial world with his partner - oh unless Martin Lewis comes along 😎😂 but he’s really careful with his money and not blind to pour money down the drain - at last SL knows he has been very foolish and WANTS OUT 👍

Hope they don't fluke a monster buyer. It's great to see them finally suffering for their ridiculous spending.
I've literally grown up having Sh1!heads rip me about them being the big boy spenders who we pale in comparison to. Finally, I'm feeling rather smug.
If we end up in the same league next season after the amount they've spent, they should be ashamed. Tehe.

Heard a rumour Whale is thinking of jumping ship …or maybe as a corporate raider he will asset strip the stadium and liquidate the playing side as a loss making entity. 😂

In fairness to Pantsdown....notice the "n" by the way.
He has given BCFC1982LTD. a modern ,bigger stadium. A good quality training facility where you can have fans watch games. This also means he has improved the stadium for the rugby team and its fans. They also have a good training setup and are in the top flight.
He has covered the costs of paying championship prices when you dont gain success.
Their crowds are the highest in the best part of 50 years.
So its cost a lot...but he can say he has made a difference.
As for selling he realises time is now against him and us looking to secure the future of the various aspects of Bristol sport ltd.
Doing the right thing to be fair.
Still would be hilarious to see them relegated if Rovers in their shanty town stadium pass them the other way. Their fans will be furious...still tents are quicker and cheaper to replace when burnt down.

Assuming SL speaks for the whole family including his boy (current chairman?) that’s got to be an alarming read for any sheedheads. The fact he’s admitted they’re all out of ideas & needing a fresh start at the top, offset by the usual 4 paragraphs of Prem chat just to sweeten the article. They’ve gotta be worried surely😄

I wonder how it would work in the context of Bristol Sport, Bristol Bears and Ashton Gate? Is it all on the table or just the football side? Imagine a scenario where he sold Ashton Gate and Bristol City and then the Bears were essentially renting the ground off of City. The rent goes up and suddenly the Bears are looking to return to their spiritual home - just in time for us to sell up and move to our new stadium

Now nothing would give me greater pleasure on the football front than to see them get relegated and old rosey walk away, but the mans no fool and would probably only sell to someone richer and possibly more ambitious so be careful what you wish for gasheads.

He’s not laughing now eh👍
Money ain’t everything and he probably wishes he was a gashead ( which he was once apparently) standing in the terraces watching a proper team instead of all this hanging over him. Bless him.

Remember reading on here they were light years in front numerous times and always called it out as deafest bollox Ultimately they are just a division ahead and that’s all that counts . Just one good season and we’re level .
Anyway…… F…. Them !

Consider the gulf in facilities/transfer fees in and out, it’s pretty mental.

Also to grow up and stop calling themselves the Bears.. what is wrong with the Shoguns FFS?
