You're all deluded, the UWE project is a dead duck and sooner everyone realises the better
Redevelop the mem and make honourary members all those who serve the gas for perpetuity

Why don't everybody just wait until the final decision is made public instead of putting non factual trash. We've waited so long what difference is 6 months going to make!!!

What if our new training ground is our plan b if the UWE is a no go? Only saying! Anyone else on the same wavelength? . The PP and amendments sspecifically exclude this possibility. Very, very unlikely that South Glos planners would ever change that decision So the planning permission states that under no circumstances can we build a stadium on the site? You can categorically say this is the case because you have read the necessary documents? Also is it not the wish of the planners to have a stadium in South Gloucester hopefully at the UWE but if not?

Wasn't there a condition that the club couldn't charge for people to watch football being played at the training complex?
If that's so, I can't see them building a 22k seater stadium then allowing everyone in for free, can you?
I suppose it would do wonders for the attendance figures though.

No chance as the floodlights would distract drivers on the M5! The floodlights would light the pitch inside the stadium and not the M5. You clearly didn't read all the objections to the training ground pp application, my comments were meant as sarcasm. Anyway isn't the land in the green belt with poor transport links, hence why the land is so cheap to purchase.

Give them what they want and get the bugger built,by the time they look for something else and wait another 5 year we would've lost millions anyway

Pretty much yes to the first two - I'll dig out the documents and cut and paste the relevant clauses for you. Agree with the third, but this has been the case since the late 1980s. The fact that we are taking over a training ground that happens to be in South Glos, doesn't mean that they will bend over backwards to facilitate the stadium on that site if the UWE deal falls through.
