Assume if it's off tomorrow, that's Boxing Day gone as well? I think it would be yes Yes as its a 10 day isolation period. Also most fixtures will be cancelled now as time goes on. I noticed my recordings over the weekend are being cancelled.

How can the powers expect ANY football team to play a game with 11 injuries and 6 cases of covid ( others pending) ?. Most of the prem games are now off and loads in other divisions.
Under the Gov own guidelines and potential contact the 6 have made with others the game must be called off . Otherwise we are in danagers of taking less than 12 players .
My maths ain't brilliant but say a squad of 30 including youth.
11 injuries / suspensions 6 confirmed covid cases ?. Awaiting results
It is very likely we will have NO subs . Incredible if this game happens.

I hear this said by some fans . If we have a top 6 budget stepping down from division one why can't we match the terms of the top 20 strikers in division two ?. Are we actually saying managers have been given the 'green light' to offer better terms than Wrexham Mansfield orient etc but refuse ?. Sorry I think our budget is very very average . If you are right and we only have a mid-table budget (which I still doubt) surely the good manager would out-perform his budget. It was Barton's choice to sign two aging strikers rather than spend the money on one fit and able striker. It's also about how you spend your budget and how you set-up and use what you have. Equally if we have a so called top 6 budget . Why couldn't we compete to sign Vaughan Mcaleny Mullins etc. And why have 70% of the top 20 strikers in division two gone to other clubs in two ?. I see no evidence since selling J.C.H we have this so called top budget hence why I am not surprised. I agree and said managers have underachieved slightly . However fans must accept were there is No investment we can't expect sudden success .

Sadly very true words !. However the board failed to invest in any quality strikers for nearly 2 years . We couldn't even sign any of the top 20 strikers in division two last season and clubs like Wrexham orient Mansfield offered better terms. We could keep getting rid of managers and admittly they have unachieved . BUT if there is no money : what can we expect?.15- 20 years ago we signed Hayles Robers Ellington Cureton Zamora etc . Personally I'm not surprised! I'd be very surprised if Barton is not working with a top 6 budget in this league. I hear this said by some fans . Who would have thought at this stage of the season FGR would be 20 points in front of us with a game in hand. A wake up call and a reality check of how far ‘we have not come’ with a chancer in control. Sadly very true words !. However the board failed to invest in any quality strikers for nearly 2 years . There is so much wrong with the club not only the playing side.Port Vale must be relishing playing us.15 years ago their Radio Stoke commentator described our stadium as 'Non League ground with a cricket pavilion for a stand.' Well not much has changed since then!!!!! Is worst! we put a tent on top of terracing!!!It's a sad situation but this rut have been going on for years. If we play division one football our accounts show a £3_4 million loss per year which equates to £15_20 over 5 seasons. Then we slash the budget unable to attract any top strikers even in division two and this happens !. We must be one of a very few teams who have made NO ground improvements in 24 years at the MEM . It's all very sad and it looks very unlikely there will be any additional investment with or without WAEL.

So nearly 18 months on we still have around 8-10 out per game . Given this seems a historical issue . Is there anything we can add to this or is it bad luck ?.

So all this hype and expectation about signing the Prolific Oldham striker and Championship winger is untrue ? Instead we get a kid who netted the same as Tom Nichols in the basement leauge and another kid who scored less leauge goals than Gavin Kelly .

The key areas is two strikers and a goalie plus a right back. The last I heard was 21 squad excluding goalie but someone said this been extended to 25. What is the confirmed squad size ?.

If it's the same player then he played for saltford in div 4 . He was dropped from the first team in mid April and didn't feature much after. I think this was very similar to the Baldwin situation both playing for saltford and being dropped in the basement leauge. He's also close to 33.
I just want us to be careful as a club because I think Wael gives us a big budget . And we must avoid making similar mistakes .

Would not be surprised if Tutonda popped up in Exeter When do you expect the two quality signings you mentioned in the O.P to be confirmed ?.

Are you sure we only sell 3000 before they go on general sale at increased prices ? And what will the increase prices be ?.
The point I am making is won't it be wiser to allow deadline date to be extended to June 1st bearing all this in mind ?. Some fans may not be prepared to pay £30_50 more on top of the standstill prices ..

Especially as we only sold 3000 which is lowest I can remember since returning to the MEM in nearly 25 years .

I have a very black and white view about these things . If it's true then we should THANK Blackbeard for sharing info to grassroots fans . If it's not true or assumptions then why put it ?. It's only going to build up expectations and cause more tension !! .

If it's limited to 20 players excluding goalkeepers . Then we will only be able to sign 3_4 players based on our current squad . I work it out we got 16 players over the age of 21 but it would be useful for someone to update squad age and capacity .

Isn't it already pretty obvious only Leahy and Martinez of the out of contract players are going to be offered new deals? We can't release any of the strikers as they are all under contract for next season, although Barton could tell them privately they should look for new clubs. Seriously though ... Is there truly a League team out there that would want any of them. I think Jonah is a work in progress.... Scandalous that we still have to pay a fee for Hanlan ! Daly .. I just don’t know.... could still work out. Needs to man up first though. I would be amazed if we offered contracts to anyone other than Leahy Martinez as u mentioned. But this still leaves a huge squad under contract which must fit into a 21 man squad as it stands by EFL . So not much room for incomers ??

Its worrying Barton played 9 players who are contracted next season and he rates Leahy and Martinez which makes 11 . However I think he said " I wouldn't pick them in school boy team " .
So even if we release 10 plus we still got 20 plus left from the Garner so called vision. Its really really messy!.
