Swansea averaged around 8,000 in their last season at the Vetch - the year they got promoted to league one. First season at the Liberty the average was 14,000. Promotion didn't bring 6,000 new fans, the better facilities did. A new ground for us will do the same. My guess is that 75% capacity is achievable as an average.

Watney Cup Final with my Dad on 5th August 1972. One game, one trophy - success rate reducing ever since! (with a few exceptions).

The price of milk is a national moral issue. Our dispute with Sainsbury's is a legal one which only the courts can decide. Sadly morality has no place in the legal arena.

There are so many factors that dictate the size of the crowd - the state of the ground itself, the weather, the cost, the standard of football (we didn't win many over with our Northampton display) and the quality of the opposition (no disrespect intended, Barnet was a big conference game, it's not a top 10 league 2 fixture). No doubt there are many more. Quid a kid is good, but there are some who have paid more than that for a kids season ticket (not much more, but more all the same). Success will see the crowds increase.

Might be a little after the event but the Planning Process is flowcharted on the Planning Portal website; www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/plan_flow_chart_eng.gifIf I'm reading it correctly the process finishes with a right of appeal to the Secretary of State. Lose that, then you must start again. As this is a government site, it must be the truth!!!

That should of course read;
This one no doubt has the potential to run and run. Interestingly FIFA state the following in their interpretation guidelines (a goalkeeper outside the penalty area has the same restrictions on handling as any other player - the fact he is the goalkeeper is irrelevant to the offence;
"A player is sent off, however, if he prevents a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball. This punishment arises not from the act of the player deliberately handling the ball but from the unacceptable and unfair intervention that prevented a goal being scored."
So, obvious goalscoring opportunity? (not possible/potential or any other similar word) and deliberate? appear to be the relevant words here.
