Poor result and Mangan has maybe been found out in the last few games as lacking what we need. Still, I think it was a worthwhile experiment sticking with him. Initially looked promising but it hasn't been great. Worth trying though, and not a farcical situation as some have suggested, in my opinion. I would agree fwiw.

Fred Sirieix has been having a few Brexit digs at Sir Nigel on I'm a Celebrity...., asked him to name three benefits. Two we had or could do anyway and one was fish.

The Slovak or the twitter account? The latter seems to be full of conspiracies.

Well if you’re setting your expectations that low then yes it is. View AttachmentLooks pretty decent today and as for the pitch - wow! Nearly December and not a hint of mud to be seen Looking good, I realise there are practical reasons but my OCD would really have loved the South West roof being the same height as the South and West stands to blend in better. 🤓

Anyone thinking we could have a stadium at the training ground site really needs to visit Hortham Lane. Never going to be a possibility. Big difference in size and attendance between those and what we'd be looking for, Hortham Lane is totally unsuitable.

Just wait a couple of generations, your great, great grandchildren will be pleased....so I'm told. 😀 Still, CO2 isn't poison, it's plant food so says Richard Tice, we have survive on that. 😇

Tbh, I’m not gonna complain if we do sign him. Would love to see JCH & Martin upfront with Collins, Thomas, Brown & Sinclair fitting around them. With a manager who could give us a game plan up front, it would be frightening imo Not worried either way and I'm happy to leave it to those closer to the team than I am, but as a general observation, if we spend the 'JCH money' on three players for say, £250k each, are we still going to bemoan that our club transfer record remains 30 years ago and we lack ambition?

Surely we'll hear today or tomorrow at the latest...!? Any longer than that and I would be extremely nervous about the future of this football club, as it would appear we're being led by complete and utter buffoons... South Stand debacle, JCH debacle and now new manager debacle...... terrific start by the new owners... Oh, I don't know. I'd say the south stand initially started before they really got their feet under the table, probably left it to existing staff but then got new people involved, BNP Paribas? JCH was an admin cockup wasn't it? Not sure they would have been that hands on. Manager wise, who really knows outside of the club. We may disagree on how they are going about it, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they are floundering. I'd give them a little slack at the moment, certainly the recent interviews have been decent.

Rather than throw people under the bus like his predecessor, Mangs said we win as a team, we lose as a team. Whilst it is ok to say the best three, why do we have to say the worst three? Hunt and Thomas are clearly the best, others so called listed as the worst have either had injury concerns or not been playing regularly to build up momentum. For what it is worth I rate Gordon. If he was not told to pass inside, I feel he can easily get down the wing to provide goal scoring opportunities. He is very skilful and has a fantastic centre of balance and simply glides past people. Can see him having a long FL career. (Famous last words - cut to two years time when he is NL south at Torquay!) I agree and I'm not sure worst is the right term either. Ratings are subjective anyway and depend on the factors being assessed. They don't necessarily correlate to the whole impact of a player.

Government thought process? Stop it. You know they don't think Only UK benefit from the rewritten UK/Japan trade deal. 😃

Sorry I must have missed that - you’ve only shared your thought that the squad is crap on every page of the last 30 odd of this thread Didn’t say crap. Said it’s not as good as we’ve been told. Results back this up as well. If you don’t like it then don’t read it 👍🏻 How would someone know if they don’t like a post without reading it in the first place? 🤔

Looks like I'm in the minority as I found Breaking Bad really tedious and didn't watch past the second episode. I have however, been enjoying some Brandon Cronenburg movies. (Son of David Cronenburg) Possessor, Infinity Pool and Antivirus were quite enjoyable if you like that sort of thing although they may be better ideas than movies, all 3 really stayed with me long after I finished watching them. Same goes for an obscure Italian (dubbed into English) horror called Piggy which really made me think about what I would do in her situation. In short, a bullied girl sees a serial killer attack and kill one of her tormentors. Should she go to the cops, or let them get away? I'd also very highly recommend The Platform currently on Netflix. Another dubbed Italian film which was stark and very brutal. If some more lighthearted gore is your thing, "Becky" was really enjoyable with Kevin James unrecognisable as an escaped neo nazi convict. You gave it one episode? 😬 I haven't seen any. 🫣

Data. Within 14 days of jab = unvaccinated, meaning issues or reactions were not counted as associated with the meds. Within 28 days of a positive test result though(a self administered cotton bud up the nose...) = as a result of covid? These types of figures shaped policy. Total madness bit at least they are talking about it. You'll have to help me out, I can't be bothered with 23 mins of that to find the key points you're talking about and/or the studies they reference. Can you link me to the parts of the video that have facts I can check? One think I can tell from the first 60 seconds was that wasn't in the EU Parliament - it was a press conference at the EU Parliament, so that does change what they can say and whether they need to back it up with facts - and may explain why it was streamed but not recorded as it wasn't actually Parliamentary business... Covered and debunked several times on this thread iirc, certainly no 'gotcha' scenario.

That report is 18 months old and we've introduced inflation ourselves by increasing costs. Just think how much lower it could have been. Add into that sorting out infrastructure, such as gas storage facilities and keeping them topped up, rather than navel gazing.

It's a nice new stand, but.... It's not nice enough, It's not a new build, It should have been done years ago. 🫣 I thought the same, but after much research I think it’s the best that could be achieved. Nearly 3500 seats in that part of the ground under cover is an amazing upgrade. I agree, I was playing along with Baggins' observation that some will always pick a fault or more. Just being sarcastic. 👍
