I have been on the side of the fence that says we're a better team without Sinclair.
However, last night I thought his positional play was far more disciplined than usual.
Also, about Boateng, he's not match fit. Think he ran his socks off on Saturday and isn't at a level yet where he can recover fully in two days.

PLUS that Rooney is a rampant sh*thead. (Gullable is not in the dictionary, Topper Gas) Gullible or not, unfortunately all what he has to say is backed up by info readily available on the internet. Let's see what the feasibility study brings, but Wael seems to be a millionaire rather than a billionaire. Also, if the Al-Qadis are here to drag us into oblivion - what can we do about it? At least we'll have our club for a few more years than it looked like we would under Higgs.

Wael will give rovers all his energy, and that might be all we need. :-)

No, idea just quoting Rooney's figures as you can't seem to find anything regarding their wealth, and Wael is always non committal. There was no obvious signs of opulence in last night's show ie no gold plated chandeliers or merc or champagne filled swimming pool. The fact is if Wael doesn't put some of his own money into the UWE you can't see how Rovers can affordable a £50m+ loan. Look, if financing was an issue I am absolutely sure WAQ would say so. As for how can we afford it - I don't think we have to? I was under the impression we were seeking investors who will risk their money for an ROI on the income the stadium generates. We are not seeking a loan that we will need to repay.

watering down in the centre with thunder and lightning. Glad I brought a coat with me against the advice of BBC weather this morning! I fell for that damn BBC forecast! I'm dressed for the height of summer.

Knew Hargreaves was doing a bit of scouting & coaching for us. Good to have him on board full time. TBH, I didn't even know we had an U21 team? Thought it was U18's then if they got a contract they join up with the senior squad. I think if you read the article we've got 7 players. I guess we'll be looking to recruit some more young-uns!

I think DC has built this squad with 3-5-2 in mind and I'm genuinely worried. If he plays 3-5-2 and we beat Wallsall on Tuesday I'll hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong and I'll be delighted we've got 3 pts though. Hate to say it, but I agree. Hope we're wrong though!

Sorry but did not say he had lost his touch but rather that he;like a lot of the players; is inexperienced at this level and will take time to learn however I think there is a danger that he will get too far into the 3-5-2 and experienced Managers will suss this out and we will find ourselves constantly chasing games. We have the players that can make a lot of the teams in this division worry about how we play rather than vice versa. I think continual "tinkering " will also come unstuck in this division because the majority of Managers will have their teams pretty well the same every week and used to bthe style they play. I think last season we got away with playing 3-5-2 for 60mins. This season against better players, we are being exploited. 3-5-2 looks like it has massive holes that the opposition are opening up easily.

Roos was good today. Great handling and distribution. Not at fault for any of the goals and a great save.
Move on, Mildy knew he would end up No.2 this season and he still chose to sign his contract.

Back to the match - SS may have got MOM, but Boateng was the best player on the park for my money. Also Colkett looks class. Played a ridiculously good ball to Sinclair (I think) which should have led to a goal. Agreed. Sinclair nowhere near MOM for me. I think that's a little harsh. Sincs did have a good game, and in typical style was at times the last defender and at others charging through on their keeper. I just thought Boateng was a class above - and he's not even match fit yet!

I'm going with this one. As I suspected it was a mixture of "While" and "Whale". Seems to be how most interviewers attempt to pronounce it too! EDIT: If you can't read what I quoted, its Why-ell

Whilst there is negativity (surprise surprise!) on the stadium update, I'm feeling quite positive about the whole thing.
Any rumours around a different site should now been put to bed - so no worrying about waiting for pp again. He seemed to suggest we looked at alternatives, but now we're focussed on UWE.
He also said the "issues" with the UWE that were inherited from NH & co. are now sorted - so maybe we're buying the land.
As for this feasibility study... something this size is clearly not as simple as one number that could have been worked out previously, where one side of that number we say "yes" and the other we say "no".
A couple of weeks is not long for accountants to work on something. They will have done the bulk of the work and come up with preliminary numbers. This couple of weeks will be finalising the figures based on the latest agreememt with UWE.
Of course the outcome of this study could lead to more negotiation, but it sounds to me like we are damn close.
Only once there is a signed agreement between us and UWE will we be able to start organising the building project. Again, this will take more time. Only when we've an agreement with the contractors will we be able to talk about what dates things will happen.
I think this update was far more than same old same old. Saying the UWE was the only option was a really strong statement. If he thought there was a chance it could go wrong, he would not have said that. I am now of the opinion this is definitely happening and I feel I can get back to concentrating on the football!

Keith seems a good guy but surely we can do better with these interviews. Not slating him, he is well liked but when you can't pronounce the owner's name correctly...its just a bit embarrassing tbh... Actually, I'm confused over the pronunciation. Is it "Whale" or "While" or something in between? I thought during the take-over press conference he made a point of saying it was "while".

What's the panic? I am sure a stadium will be built. Where it is and when it will be built is a different question.
I guess there is no panic if we're talking alternatives to UWE. However, I checked today and pp for the car park that needs building runs out on 6th November - hence why it needs to be started in October. If the builders haven't been commisioned yet - I guess UWE is looking less likely.

Well this should help us feel better - apparently there's #nothingtofear: Regarding UWE im sure Wael will get a gorillaing tomorrow night. I'll get my coat. In all seriousness, I don't see how Wael can put himself in front of a crowd like that without having something meaningful to say about the stadium. Here's hoping...

I'll be distraught if macca plays a league game for us again. He was out of his league last season. The guy has no confidence in himself and noone knows what he's saying. Macca is funny one. Does sometimes look out of his depth, especially the lack of pace, but on his day, especially man marking a rough house guy, he is one of the best around. And football these days is a lot about stats and his stats are remarkable. He was injured for the opening eight games of last season and an unused sub for the next two. Six of those games ended in defeat; in fact Macca only featured in three of the 13 League defeats, whilst in contrast he played in 16 wins and three draws. I'm not 100% sure HOW that happened but it did.Macca plays in a 4-4-2 in which we always look like a team trying to win.
