He coached my youth team for an evening session when he was at Melksham Town. Top man, super humble and a great player.

Very nice to hear a smattering of applause from Gasheads for Lincoln left winger when he got subbed late on Saturday. Some performance that and good to know we can reluctantly acknowledge quality in an opponent. Rare to see such a natural footballer in L1. I remember same for Jamal Campbell-Ryce for Orient about 20 years ago.
Anyone remember anything similar from more recent?

Off topic and nothing personal but it's been bugging me for a while....first rule of Latin club is get it right. Second rule is only use Latin where it provides a more apt or concise alternative to the English. De facto ("as a matter of fact") is properly used in contrast to de jure ("as a matter of law"). I think you meant "inherently", so best sticking with that. Not criticising your point of view but if someone drops Latin incorrectly and gratuitously it comes off pompous and pretentious. Which I'm sure you will agree is something best left to me.

My first game back tonight. Is it possible to buy from the ticket office as before, or do you have to buy online? Thanks.

We need moderators to ensure Proboards continue to host our forum. So, they do a necessary but largely thankless task. I might agree or disagree with their decisions (frankly, I might usually not give a monkeys either way) but they always get a pass from me because I recognise that I couldn't be assed to do it myself. It's like people who criticise kids' football coaches decisions. Do it yourself if you don't like the way it's being done. I'm sure they're not exactly bombarded with offers of assistance.

Sigh. That's marbles, isn't it. We left usselves a mountain to climb after a calamitous qualifying leg, and gave it a good go but unfortunately came up short. Take nothing away from the worthy winners, the table doesn't lie at the end of the day. I am sure everyone at this marble club, including me supporters, will be proud of what the boys have achieved this season. [Opens envelope containing P45 from Hazers chairman].

Off the top spot. I've told the lads that you don't just show up at a place like the Short Track and expect to pick up 25 points. Dust usselves down and we go again.

The bright kids at the back understand; you can carry on cutting up the shiny paper with the plastic scissors. How far back do you need to go back to understand yiddish Might be best Henbury if you clear up any misunderstanding by confirming that wasn't what you meant. Otherwise people might get the wrong idea. You didn't mean yiddish, you meant gibberish, am I right?
