Well done boys. They are a credit to the club on and off the pitch. They always say hello to my boys if we come across them around the Mem or Golden Hill.

Thinking about it noone I've ever met gay or straight has ever said that they were ever unsure of whether they fancy men, women or both. My genuine question to those who think gayness is a choice is - if you yourself know what you are and always have been, why would you doubt that in others?
Appreciate that maybe not everyone is that certain; if so fair play, you may have made a choice to repress your gay/straight side.I'm curious whether those who belive we do make a choice have been forced to make that difficult choice themselves? If so I feel for you; it must be difficult repressing what is ultimately a pretty instinctive primal urge.
I think the first few openly gay players will have a tough time, similar to blacks in the 70s.

Essentially yes. The clean sheets were little to do with Brown command of his area (another thing he's sorely lacking). Our defense were very good last year. Lest anyone thinks Sheep's on a mission to put us off the trail of a real gem they don't want to lose, I saw this pithy assessment of Broon on the Dons' forum end April: "chocolate wristed **** should be sent on his useless ****ing way now "

If anyone's going along to watch HMHB play this evening, let's not forget to request their version of Irene -
Apparently inspired by listening to Rovers fans vs their beloved Tranmere Rovers at Wembley in 1990. I like it.

Why are we still contemplating the moon shot when it could well result in a financial meltdown? We are masters and owners of our own domain at the Mem.Tart it up build a proper south stand and it works fine well to the top of league 1. Obviously NH needs to roll the dice and go sh** or bust for his own reasons. Let's not pretend that his interests (payback asap at all costs) in any way align with outs (long term viability).I'm giving some thought over the weekend as to how we can put a wedge under this runway train. (Ps where do i pick up my award for post with most mixed metaphors? )

I was wondering if there is a League 2 fantasy league? That'd be more engaging for a lot of us who don't follow the Prem too closely.

I hesitate to post negatives without knowing the full SP but it seems that there is a conflict of interest between NHs desire for sh** or bust and BRFCs need to avoid bust at all costs. We can live without putting the club's long term future on the line for the sake of the moon shot. UWE may be the only game in town in NH agenda but not in mine. Apologies if this is unduly harsh on a man of whom I have little knowledge but the tension between the two agendas must be there somewhere.

I'm looking for details of the open day at the stadium (the one where you can take your kids into the dressing room to chat to the squad etc). Does anyone have a link? Thanks.
