So, you support making over 75's pay the BBC Tax? The BBC consulted 190,000 people. 48% were against the proposal, 37% were for the proposal and 15% preferred to reform the way the BBC was funded. The BBC, conveniently, interpreted this as 52% in favour of the plan. Is there no 'compromise' for the 48%? Raise the age to 80? Shoot everybody whose user name idenitifies them as being of advanced age?

Like the whole of India, I am uncomfortable with the 'Umpire's Call' decisions regarding LBW. In cricket, surely you are either Out or Not Out. I don't understand why Cricket has allowed itself to make decisions based on an opinion. To be fair, a lot of decisions given in cricket are made on opinion. If you had six umpires at the non strikers end, three might give a batsman out LBW, and three might give him not out. But I agree with you about Umpire`s Call. To me, it takes away a lot of the spontaneous pleasure of the game.

Spoke too soon, Australia win by 15 runs. Good attempt by West Indies though. Windies blew it. They had the game in the bag. They were called for 24 wides. Four extra overs for the Aussies. Difference between winning and losing.

We had a lot of help though, and practice runs. Nobody has done Brexit before and I'm not sure Dieppe was such a success. More like August 1914, very enthusiastic volunteers thinking it will "be over by Christmas". Whilst we are dancing around with these metaphors, you might want to be more accurate. 1943..a clear objective, a unified sense of purpose and the resources applied. 2016..Disunity, no clear objective on the "how" and half assed resources applied. So, the question is...why? Either way, its behind us. We have the future to look forward to...hopefully. This time next year, our economy will be wrecked, our climate will be hotter than a pork vindaloo, and our football club will be in the 21st century equivalent of Marshalsea. I`m not looking forward to it.

Why do everyone keep on having a go at TN he’s a Rovers player wether you like it or not. Because he doesn’t ever score goals...and the assists is part and parcel of being a centre forward because most have a good assist rate along with a reasonable score ratio If you go to a restaurant and you pay for a meal and it’s not cooked your not going to say “don’t worry about that this is my favourite restaurant “ If you ordered Gazpacho soup followed by a Greek salad, you might.

All joking apart, my knowledge of the lake at Eastville park is restricted to running round it every Saturday morning on the Park Run, but I can`t see why you couldn`t use that, any other time of the day.

Does anyone know of a lake or stretch of water in the Bristol area where you are allowed play around with Remote Controlled Boats? When I was kid we used to go to St George’s Park plenty of remote control boats there. Mind you that was 40 years ago, so now it’s probably just full of waterheads and junkies now! And doggers. Apparently.

He 's a cricketer and 74 so not what we need but will score more than Nichols. His granny would score more than Nichols with a stick of rhubarb. Have you been probing away at his corridor of uncertainty?

Today's BBC statement … "Current policy means we have no alternative but to sack Danny Baker for racial abuse. If only he'd just sexually interfered with th baby then we could have turned a blind eye for years." Christ How low can this forum go? Disgusted of T W. And yet what Big Jock posted, is not without an element of truth. We know that in certain circumstances, the police/social workers have turned a blind eye to the rape of children. There wasn`t the remotest possibility that Plod would turn a blind eye to what Baker did.

I don`t find it too depressing, Officer.
The fact that elements of the police, elements of social services and elements of local councillors, preferred to turn a blind eye to child rape, rather than run the risk of being labelled racist; THAT I find depressing.
Sorry old chap what on earth has that to do with my post? Reasons not to be cheerful, Officer. Just comparing and contrasting what it is that we find depressing.

Just reading now about how he regularly appeared on a far right talk show in America discussing the new world order associated with antisemitic tropes. Also just read the communist party are backing him and his party too. Thing is we hear all of this anti left rhetoric about Corbyn and whatnot but now we go off and vote for this guy? It's exactly like trump all that sh** about women and Russia and you know what, people that started by preaching principle soon abandon them once they find their demigod. They dont really care about all that. All is forgiven Nigel, enter us. It's just so depressing I don`t find it too depressing, Officer.

My friend has a HSV season ticket and to quote him "They're horseshit and a bunch of useless lady gardens". That's pretty much spot on. Ok. But how did they get into this state? Bad management? Poor buys in the transfer market?
