Mark Hughes what an awful performance. There was one chance that Exeter missed during the first half where Hughes completely lost his man who then had a free header on goal. Hughes then turned to Belshaw and started having a go at him?! Take some responsibility you prat! They were all bad but Hughes was on another level. Woeful.

From experience, it is unlikely contractually he would have needed to advise he had been arrested (although not good at all from a trust perspective), but would obviously need to if actually charged. I suspect they knew nothing until the weekend, and the evidence from the poor comms to date suggests they have been on the back foot from the start. If they knew the full details in advance, the club would (should) have been more proactive in their messaging.

Says something when Matty Taylor is playing on Saturday and won't be the most disliked person at the Mem.

He has to be suspended as an absolute minimum - I suspect the club will be looking at whether there is enough grounds to allow them to dismiss him. There also could be another option of a ‘left with mutual consent’, allowing him to focusing on his upcoming trials.

Have just driven past and looks like the main pitch is being taken up. Assume they must be starting pre-season work early.

I thought it was a very good letter especially in the circumstances.

Has a manager ever had a poor a start as this in his first 10 games and gone on to be a success? Ummm.... DC?

Give the guy as long as he needs. We are not going up (and nor were we ever going to under GC), and we are not going down. I will be there next Saturday, and am pretty chilled about the whole thing. There are bigger things in life than football.

Just to double check, do you actually need to print your ticket or can you use it on your phone?

Didn't think Clarke had a good game either. Jaakkola for me.

Listening to the radio and reading this forum, I've concluded I saw a different game. I thought Oxford were the superior side, going down our right side with ease, and dominating the midfield. Fortunately they didnt take there chances and today we did. Our centre backs look great, jch is getting back to full fitness, hare has a great cross from both feet. But both hare and leahy are exposed easily and I thought Clarke and ogogo were poor. Thought Ogogo had his best performance in a Rovers shirt, was unlucky not to be MOTM.

Lots of opinions on how this season will finish... If you want mine, I believe we'll be needing at least a point at home to Barnsley on the last day. Barnsley who looked nailed on for automatic might just need something similar. I hope im wrong because my nerves couldn't stand a scenario like that... As you say my bloody nerves wont take another mansfield type final day, will probably be made all ticket fairly soon, and god knows why its a 5.30 ko with the potential for it kicking off with the ferret strokers. It's equally possible that Barnsley will have nothing to play for and will rest players for the play offs. Will wait and see.

People saying Sunderland were poor. They went two nil up and saw the game out without us having a shot on target. Two giant centre halves won all the important headers in the box and they had enough quality when it mattered. Mind you I think the whole world could see where McGeady was going. Why we didn’t get someone to drop back on to the post is really poor. Sunderland didn’t need to be any better than what they were. As for us. Well I’m yet to see what Reilly offers. TN was on fire before a bad half v Shrews and hasn’t had a look since. How he isn’t starting, especially today on a decent pitch is bizarre. Also bizarre was the like for like sub with OC for Upson at 2-0 down. We seemed to lack ideas big time. JCH won his fair share of first balls but we didn’t get enough bodies around him. He is definitely an improvement on Payne which is a positive. I thought in general play Locks and TC were excellent, save for TC error for the corner. Grigg was totally ineffective. If we persist with 442 I’d like to see THD play in front of JC on the left side. Need more natural quality there. Sercs doesn’t seem to be himself there. If the plan is to play with Abs and OC then I would want the wide players higher and TN as a 10 making a 4-2-3-1. At least then there’s more players higher up the pitch. I totally agree about the atmosphere comments. It’s so quiet. On and off the pitch we are far too easy to play against at the mem. You cannot put a defender on the post in that situation, you wont see it in any league game for totally obvious reasons. Sunderland did it themselves in the 2nd half from Sercombes free kick.

Is possible we could have scored that penalty and lost 3-2. Its a decent point, on to Saturday now where we will need to put in another similar performance if we are to get anything from it.

When the fans in the East Terrace start chanting at the ref "your worse than Huxtable" you know things are bad and can only get worse. We have had some bad, nay, discusting incompetant refs before, but this one plunged the refereeing to a new low. I would describe him as being a Peon (definition is of a person with an I.Q of one less than a carrot. I know Huxtable (understandably) gets some stick but in his defence he was very firm on time wasting by booking players early which set the tone.
