Couldn't make the game as was on holiday but the video doesn't look great for Rossiter.

I watched Tuesday’s game from abroad on iFollow for the first time ( I actually was genuinely abroad!) . Anyway…. I thought I’d read from other fans it was cheaper ie £5 instead of £10 ? Cost me £9.34 I think in the end , would of been a bargain if we’d of won but a total rip off for the rubbish I witnessed ! 😂 It had been slightly cheaper - they increased it from €8 to €11 at the start of last season.

Will be a tough game, would absolutely take a point. Heard a whisper another starter is out injured today but will find out for sure at 2pm.

How the FGR player wasn't booked for a blatent dive on the edge of our box in the 1st half I will never know.

The morning after the 3pm kick off before - a disappointing, but not particularly unexpected, result to start another season. The poor summer of recruitment so far left us woefully short yesterday.
Westbrooke has clearly been designated the scapegoat, but for me was no worse than a number of other players on the pitch, Rossiter being an obvious one.
My biggest frustration was that we stuck with the 4-2-4 formation after scoring the equaliser, leaving Evans and Rossiter massively exposed in the centre of midfield. I felt we should have tried to steady the ship and take what would have been a slight underserved point which would have been a decent outcome in the circumstances.

The club clearly hadn't proactively tested what was supposed to happen otherwise they would have flagged issues sooner. Easy to blame Ticketmaster, but its a two way thing.

Belshaw has been superb again. Love this quality high press, energetic and purposeful way of playing. The team work so hard for one another, especially when regaining possession. We look professional. Our own mistakes have created opportunities for FGR but in the main we have made it hard for FGR to take control of the game apart from a nervy last ten minutes. Hoole has settled in well but is clearly learning his craft as we saw from failing to attack the ball on one occasion. His positional play has been very good as has his passing through midfield to our strikers. Some of our free kicks have been very creative and on another day we might have scored from a few of them. Westbrooke really needs to impose himself and get a grip. Too lightweight for me. Be interesting how we take control in second half. "Hoole has settled in well" so he's not at all to blame for the numerous chances FGR have had to score? Whilst Westbrooke looks he's not helped by Rossiter having a poor game given that he's supposed to be the DCM. Agreed. Rossiter, Collins and others not impacting the game currently.

Am I right in thinking that you only need to download a ticket if you want to enter the ground & watch the team training, but if you just want to purchase the new shirts from the clubshop you can just turn up as normal? Yep.

Was hoping to take my daughter to this tomorrow as she loved the game on Tuesday but doesn't look like tickets are available which is a real shame. Limiting attendance is a missed opportunity for trying to generate more young supporters.

Likely means we will be home on the 1st Sat due to needing to be home on the 3rd Sat because of the balloon fiesta. Balloon fiesta is 11-14 Aug Yep - 30 July (H), 6 Aug (A), 13 Aug (H)

It was right in front of me - wasn't spitting, he was booked for unsportsmanlike contact for giving verbals to Anderson after the tackle. Was right in front of the 4th official too who would have seen any spitting offence.

I was impressed with the Ref again today. He let the game flow which suited us,just like he did when he reffed the Oxford game. They were going down like 9 pins that night but he wasnt swayed and it enabled us to keep up the momentum just like today Me too. Got most decisions spot on although I would raise a question of whether he should have sent off Watt for his challenge on Collins when clean through. Agreed. Should have been a red.

Joey got a yellow card. This ref worries me as both him and Barton are hot headed. We are playing like a pub side yet Joey has spent 80% of the game moaning about the ref.

Has anyone ever seen Whelan and Iniesta in the same room? Not sure Whelan has played a forward pass since Iniesta retired.

He's a real asset for us - would walk into most sides in the league.

Not sure Barton can make Thomas score when he's clean though with just the goalie to beat? Thomas basically has cost us 2 pts tonight and now made Saturday's game that bit tougher. No blame for the woeful defending? Or Barton's inability to see a game out when we are ahead for the second time in four days?

What a clown Lee Jones was - moaning about every decision. Shame we didn't finish it off.

Radio Bristol were saying that the first yellow was for dissent, stupid if so. Assumed it was a late decision on the tackle but perhaps not.
