Roos 6 - a couple of decent saves but still made me a little nervous at times
Leadbitter 8.5 - very good performance especially when attacking Lockyer 6 - steady performance Clarke-Salter 6.5 - couple of mistakes but still learning. Was good in the air and calm on the ground. I think that his passing game rubs off on Lockyer whose distribution is improving. Brown 7 - good all round match
Moore 6 - good hardworking performance. Best that could be expected with lack of game time. Sinclair 6.5 - very vital to the team as gets through an enormous amount of work Lines 7 - good in patches Montano 8 - very good performance taking account the lack of match time this season
Taylor 7 - looked sharper than Saturday but the good thing is that he can still play a lot better Harrison 5 - off the pace and the one weak link
Subs: Gaffney 6.5 big improvement on Ellis Colkett n/a Easter n/a
Crowd 8 - did not seem like 10,000 to me. A number of seats empty (including either side of me in the Dribuild), empty away terrace and quite a bit of space in the family enclosure Ref 7 Fleetwood 7 - looked very good in patches. Great finish for the goal.

Roos 4 - Terrible mistake which should not happen at this level
Leadbitter 8 - did really well going forward Lockyer 7- had a good game apart from the error at the end Clarke-Salter 7.5 - looks a class act. Always appears to have time on the ball Brown 7- a good game with good attacking runs
Sinclair 8.5 - lacked a little quality at times but phenomenal work-rate and very effective O. Clarke 6.5 - steady performance Lines 6.5 - very good in patches Colkett 6.5 - looks a class act
Taylor 6 - quiet game but showed a few glimpses of quality Gaffney 7.5 very good first half. Worked hard and was effective apart from not scoring
Subs: Harrison 5.5 - a couple of good moves but not very effective Easter 5 - did not really have an impact
Crowd 7 - a bit quiet at times but did not get on the players backs despite the result Ref 5 - a number of bad decisions which probably evened themselves out Peterborough 6 - well organised and kept going to the end

as a young boy i watched bill dodgins amazing attacking football teams with 2 fast wingers and an all out attacking approach. remember those near miss promotion seasons and fantastic cup runs? i do a good friend of mine and ex rovers player dave stone told me what a great coach dodgin was and how he used to say " meet the ball" always meet the ball don megson said when he arrived as player coach how he loved dodgin but felt maybe we should defend a bit more??? dave stone played about a 150 gsames for rovers and managed with good results in the western league at weston-s-m and portway-bristol and always followed the dodgin philosophy with his semi-pro teams any other memories of bill? I remember Dave Stone well. A very underrated player. A stylish midfielder and also a good centre back. Was one of my favorite players as a boy. I posted him my autograph book which was pictures of all of the team and he got the players to sign their photographs. Please let him know that he is still fondly remembered. I still have the autograph book must be about 50 years old.

Mildenhall 5 handling and distribution could be better
Leadbitter 5 showed some promise but lots of examples of poor control J. Clarke 8. Very impressive. Surprised me. Lockyer 7 looked steady Hartley 7 looked steady Brown 6
O. Clarke 5 some good tackles, poor shooting and distribution could be better Lines 6 great goal but not as commanding as one would expect Sinclair 6 great energy buts lacks something. Hopefully will get better as he gets more games at this level
Taylor 6 showed touches of class but way below his best Harrison 5 showed some great leaps but did not threaten much
Subs: Gaffney 5 Godin 6 Montano 5
Crowd 5 Ref 6 Cardiff 5

Would the Vegas trip class as a bonus? Thought that there were rules for bonus payments and that they had to be in existing player contracts. Would hate to see a points deduction for breaking rules !!!! Just asking if anyone knows if there are such rules.

At home in Singapore. Now gone midnight. That was very stressful. They had the Accrington game live on TV here. They were unlucky a number of times. Could hardly watch after we had scored. Glad to have to cancel my trip back to the UK for the play off final.
Now for an enjoyable summer!!

Was at the game
Mildenhall 6 - apart from he should of came out for the cross on the first goal had a competent performance
Leadbitter 6- good attacking play at times but at fault for the second goal and at times looked shaky defensively Lockyer 6- made a few more mistakes than usual but overall a competent performance McChrystal 7 - did well (MOM) Brown 7- attacking play was good but defensively could of been better
Bodin 5- faded badly after bright start O. Clarke 5- not very commanding Lines 6 - could not fault the effort. At times was very creative but far too many basic errors. Lawrence 5 - has class but not up to the pace of the game
Taylor 6 - quiet game but class finish for the goal Gaffney 5 - very ineffective
Subs: Harrison 7 - looked sharp and took the goal well Montano 7 - looked a class player who could make a difference Easter 6
Crowd 5 Gas fans passionate but some fans throwing things and getting on the pitch not ac.ceptable behaviour Ref 6 Northampton 7 can see why they are going up. Very unlucky with the freekick that hit the woodwork

Nicholls 1. MIstake was as bad as you get, crucial and unacceptable from a professional.
Leadbitter 7. Some good crosses Lockyer. 6. Not as good as usual Parkes 1. Two terrible mistakes which cost goals. Did not look a professional player Brown 6 average performance. Blasted a good chance wide in first half.
Bodin 6. Great goal but went missing for lots of the game. Mansell 6 average game Sinclair. 6. Average game Gosling 6. Played some good balls but lightweight off the ball
Taylor 2. Looked the most likely to score but three good chances missed cost us Easter 5. Expect more from a player of his talent
Lines 6 Montano 4. Did not do much Harrison did nothing when coming on. 3
Crowd 4. Many left early Ref. 8 Newport. 7. Took advantage of mistKes

Concept of a subtle brand is good but this is too subtle and does nothing at all for me. A subtle Pirate image or simply the word "Pirates" written in a small and stylish format would be great for me.
