Still feeling a little watered off at not being able to get tickets for this match. I telephoned at 3.45pm yesterday (pirate leisure ) asking to purchase one ticket stating I am a season ticket holder and the reply was "everyone is a season ticket holder and you'll have to come in person " Well as I live 40 miles away I stated we were leaving at 5.30 for the game and was told on arrival all tickets had gone. But to my dismay my mates had successfully purchased over the phone that same day. ( they also come from a similar area to me ). The thing that has watered me off is why they were allowed to purchase over the phone and not myself ? If anyone does have a ticket that cannot be used for any reason I would be interested in purchasing it but only for the price it originally sold for. I am certainly not going to line anyones pocket. I've got one for £240 if you are interested. I don't think my Mrs is fussed about the match! £239.50 is my limit £240.00 is too bloody expensive. As I stated i'm not about to be ripped off.

In answer to 1973 No its not a comedy post -- Totally based on what I have seen. Sorry you disagree but surely others can have different opinions to yourself.

Based on what I saw last season and last night I would like to add the following :-
Elis hasn't got the all round quality/ability for this division and should only be used as an impact sub. Sincs his time as a first team player has finally run its course and should only be used as a squad player. Olly Clarke same as Sincs Puddy to be offloaded when new 1st choice goalkeeper signed. Mansell & Lawrence are now squad players only. Hartly -- We need a refund ( not good enough for this division ) No improvement on Parkes.

Good job Bruce Bannister didn't think like that.

Looks as if Kilgour is getting a lot of game time this preseason. I've never seen him play before, I'm assuming he has lots of potential? One of the dads who watches these matches told me last season this kid is outstanding and will go all the way. By far the best player in this age group. As for extending the squad I would like to see 2 further additions. One being an experienced younger goalkeeper and the second a creative midfield player who would possibly be our marque signing. ie if he costs money then so be it.

Perhaps we could also sign his old team mate Nick Powell as well.
