Just do up the MEM UWE ain't gonna happen is it? Sorry but a very negative post. We stay at the Mem we will die at the Mem. At best we will stay in the Third div -- No room to progress the offield type of things we need to do in order to progress.

why do you need a bloody drink at half-time anyway?
it's only 15 minutes by the time you have a p**s and actually get served you have 10 minutes. this invariably means necking your pint, which is just drinking for the sake of it Nothing wrong in a drink at half time at all. Don't bother when at an away ground but always have one at the Mem. Some people buy a pie some a cup of coffee others a mars bar but I like a drink and so buy a becks -- My preference or is it against the law ??

The trouble with Ellis he is not consistant enough ( well consistantly good ). He can be brilliant ( Northampton) but mostly he shows a lack of knowledge to be a footballer. Problem is do we have the resources to keep him hoping one day he may click. I hope we do but use him as an impact player at best. Still think we need 2 to 3 new forwards/strikers.

First of all we all knew Taylor would be going at some time and in my opinion should have had a replacement lined up. We were never going up this season but at least we would still be in top six or seven. We will probably come around 13th/14th now but the problem being will see gates tail off as we limp home.
With regard to recruitment in the summer --I would say it will depend on whether we have finally got agreement for the new ground beforehand. We can then concentrate on getting the right players in to have a real go at this division next season. We definitely need two goalscoring forwards another competent midfielder and if we cannot sign them replacements for Sweeney & Lumley.s
I can see this summer being extremely busy -- But in my mind the new ground agreement will be the catalyst to the success of the club

I didn't really believe we had much chance of promotion before today -- But one thing I do know now is that after today we have no chance of promotion.

To be fair we did get another striker, and given his small amount of game time so far there's no way you'd have got someone else to sit on the bench. Maybe it is time to give James a run of games, no harm in doing so. We should have realised before he went someone may come in for him and had a suitable replacement lined up. This is where the club is to blame. And I've just listened to the chairman -- He's either one of the most pompus & arrogant persons I've ever heard from a Rovers board member or he simply doesn't have a clue. Not sure which one yet.

To all those who think it's right we should just be happy with settling into life in league one and not worrying about making a challenge now for the championship. For weeks I've kept saying you can't pick and choose when you get promotion. When it's possible you have to go for it with everything you have. The sh** got Taylor because they are in the championship and therefore can pay him more. If we are ever going to be in a position to keep our best players then we have to get there as well. Not in two years or five years or any particular number of years. We f.ckingwell have to get there asap. Never mind consolidation, we have been shafted by them because they knew they could, and we say we're happy to doss around where we are. Well not me. If it's there we have to go for it, and even though it's now much harder, we have to replace him and still go for it. I will never settle for being second best to those bast.rds. What's your idea then. Just chuck money at it? No But I would like to see some money chucked at it.

I can't understand how you can give the ref 7 when he never attempted to stop Swindle's continued fouling, then he booked Sweeney for his first offence for just delaying the goalie kicking the ball up field. Amazing how Locks looks so much more confident with a big man alongside him, although I bet Burn & Partington are wondering it they'll ever a get a game, with Clarke-Salter nearing fitness we seem to gone from one extreme to the other, CB's wise. Brown had a tough job today as he had to cover the entire left flank but we had BB/Moore & Leads coveriBestng the right flank. Best ref at the Mem this season

Sorry, but this is nonsense- reading this would suggest that pretty much all of the team bar Ollie Clarke and Matty Taylor can't cut the mustard at this level. It's far from the case. Agreed that individual errors are costing us but James Clarkes hacked clearance is totally separate from Jermaine Easter being told he's moving on. This is becoming much less a match report and much more weekly moan. We're struggling right now. We clearly need to change things in defence but to doubt the manager (who is actively doing this) and the formation is off. The formation had nothing to do with the goals conceded. Sinclair was fine. A 3 is totally harsh, its coming across as an ego thing. It's simple to explain rovers last 6 away matches. Decent side let down by dodgy defence- copy paste. No need to dig out those who aren't at fault. Well I agree with Steve's comments. At least he is giving us a solution to progress. Sinclair & Gaffney are awful and need to be replaced and Locks needs to be rested and the captaincy taken away from him.

Went for £250k from Wimbledon in the summer, was highly rated there it seems. Lacks experience though obviously. Be interesting to see who starts of him and Partington tomorrow, you'd imagine Partington. Both

What worries me is with these 6 being told they will no longer be selected plus injuries to Leadbetter and the centre Backs will we have enough players to put out against Walsall ( including subs ) ? And if we get any more injuries how will it be dealt with ? I'm assuming their must be a host of signings on the horizon ?

I'm not going to insult Lumley in anyway as I have never heard of him and have only seen tonight the amount of games he has played since turning pro. But where I will question is why we have signed him at this point in time where we clearly need a proven experienced goalie to help settle the back four and also to steady our quivering ship. With the type of games coming up in Feb it was imperative we signed an experienced goalie. Signing a young inexperienced goalie could have the reverse effect and worse still ruin this poor kid for life.
I will support him ( Lumley ) But am starting to question DC's approach to transfer dealings.
