Going to be like stoke and port vale very soon. Embarrassing. It already is isn't it? Is there a bigger city that has not had a league derby in the last 18 years? Probably only notss forest and notts county can compete with that stat. As far as I am concerned that stat is a disgrace and sadly says more about how tinpot we have been and continue to be that it does about how much better run City are because for all their money up until recently they have had very little to crow about. Nottingham is a lot smaller than Bristol -- But one city that hasn't had a derby for over 18 years and is bigger than Bristol is Bradford.

Yes we are not playing very well away and yes the board have been extremely quiet regarding new ground etc -- But I really believe one of the main reasons Gasheads are moaning about most things going on at Rovers at present has been triggered by the on & off pitch success over the river. I know we all say we don't care what they do but when things aren't going to plan here and they are there then we as supporters in the same city are a very jealous bunch. ( both clubs supporters ). And theres nowt DC can do about City's results.

I can't accept the criticism of Sinclair, if the rest of the team applied the same level of endeavour as he ALWAYS does we'd be having very different conversations about the clubs progress, he is a great example to younger players and a real asset to our club. If the rest of the team played like him we would never get over the half way line -- Can't remember when he last played a forward pass.

........but it is clear everything about Rovers is dated. So true but think it will always be so.Mr Wael's next interview needs to tell us the truth-however painful that may be. What are you expecting him to say, he's been feeding us complete lies and that neither the colony or Mem re-gen is going ahead? If that is the truth then Yes.

blame the players on the pitch actually playing the game!!! you can't blame them, half of them are not good enough, you can't blame em for that I wonder if we can play our Wildcard in Jan ? Thus replace half the team ( at least )

We of a certain eastville generation ought to know better than to knock the new generation of fans as they know little of our history and are only interested in what has happened since D C took over any negative comments and you will be shot down in flames and called a ted, I ought to know I've had a lot of backlash recently You deserve every bit of criticism you get for all the crap you post on these pages, and I'm not the only one who thinks that. As for the original post, it's hard to take it seriously when (s)he writes in such a garbled style with no thought to sentance structure or punctuation. Not to mention using childish monikers like "Snake" or "Pantsdown". Blaming Wael for the atmosphere too? That's a new one! What more can you expect from a "Plastic Gashead" though?! Well if you think everything is "Hunky Dory" then that's up to you. And I don't like people who criticise other peoples posts with regard to structure or punctuation either. I'm with " OldToteender " on this.

I think its good that the recent dc interviews and hamers on twentyman have made it clear that we are league 1 at best for well forever. Thing is now dc and the team can just concentrate on getting enough points to secure our safety in league 1. Its all out in the open now in my view so manager, players and supporters can unite to help us stay in this division. Lets face it league 1 is our very own premier league and like walsall, rochdale, bury and gillingham we need fight to stay in it. Agree with you up to a point. But surely there must be some ambition to go higher and better. I really thought on the last takeover I would finally see my team/club strive for better things on and off the pitch after 55 years of a few great memories but much more hardship. I was born blue & white and while tomorrow I will be at Blackburn part of my dream died whils't listening to Hamer. Not sure I can continue my support like I have over the years if the club is going nowhere -- just feel completely drained at present stuffing well and truly kicked out of me. Something surely has to change . Not for me but for the younger fans of tomorrow or i'm afraid we will see a lot more choose that horrible lot over the river. People want more comfort nowadays and better facilities which I can totally agree with. Anyway hopefully might come good in todays meeting. But i'm not holding my breath.

Howard Radford and Ron Nicholls. In those days keepers wore roll necks jumpers.Howard saved a pen at the Dell and my mate Johnny Stack (Still watches every home game at 72) bought him a cigar he put through the team coach window as they drove away after the game. First goalie I saw watching Rovers

What I might call significant investment would be in the order of £30m - £35m . A regenerated Mem and a Training Facility - a minimum requirement (infrastructure wise) to take the club forward to a Championship level - again IMO. I'm staggered that even now people still talk about a regenerated Mem. It is not viable. Who said so? Our current owners. Just consider the outstanding debts, and the likely £20-£30m it would cost to make it even reasonable to play football there. How will the outlay be repaid? I'm in total agreement with you on this one. The current ground is a tip and I don't think the current owners will ever get it up to how a football ground should be at this present time. Possibly one of the worst grounds in the football league in its present state.

Are the negatives stories being put out there to try and force the current owners to sell so that ed ware and the Chinese (white knight) consortium can proceed with their plan? I can't believe I even wrote that, I'm starting to believe all this crap. It's clearly Bullsh1t what the fck is Wong with you. Maybe like Chelsea are doing The current owners are trying to attract chinease investment ?

Actually think this is probably the main problem -- There isn't a leader/captain within the current squad.

Just listened to the post match interview with DC, he says he takes full responsibility for the team , performances and results and he is going to be harsh and make changes well he makes changes to the team every week so perhaps that s why we are so inconsistent If he takes full responsibility he should look in a mirror first and walk away Funniest thing I've read all day No way he should walk away. I listened to his comments too and it seems to me there will be changes come Jan as he has become dissolutioned with some of the squad.
