I'm sure we all think many posts are strange, but to call the poster 'strange' is crossing the line especially in these liberal times when are encouraged and sometimes instructed to accept everyone. Does that include me?😇

2 metre high temporary fencing going in alongside the pitch next to the driveway. If BG fines everyone who hits a ball over it they will soon learn not to hit the ball over the bar. After that, fine them for hitting it wide😉😉😉,
Hardcore now compacted (forming the driveway and car park. Presumably, just the asphalt required now.Hopefully ready for next week.

"Sunderland were the first club I became aware of having an interest but then, just over eight weeks ago, he was used as a substitute for Charlton in a friendly against Southend. They looked all but certain to sign him but it was reported that they had concerns over a potential fee for him with Burnley entitled to a compensation payment and that led to him being linked with Bristol Rovers" If he is out of contract why would a fee be involved? I think free transfer Bosman moves only apply to players above a certain age - can’t remember what age though. Normally a compensation payment is agreed, if not it goes to a tribunal. Designed to stop clubs who put big efforts in to developing players only for them to leave for nothing at the first opportunity? Age 24. But Topper won't believe me. Bless him.

He was out of contract so we could have carried on discussing a deal if we'd wanted to? Although who really cares what was holding the deal up, apart from GI, he's now signed that's all that matters. More good press here about AK: www.uptheclarets.com/ali-koiki-on-the-gas"scoring goals for fun" in the U23's!!? For someone who doesn't care what I write you seem to write many a response to it. Bless you my son.

Well, he failed his initial medical. So obviously we’ve since further investigated whatever the issue was & are satisfied that it won’t be a long term problem for him. Not to mention a certain 'guarantee'

Hate to say it but his medical actually was the issue. You are heading for a ban. How dare you agree with me on anything.

What's wrong with his fitness? Nothing - I call BS. Pretending to be ITK again. Reckon you're bang on the money. If he's bang on the money, why has he been signed on an undisclosed contract? Any fee is outside the players contract requirements. In which case it would say an undisclosed fee.

Compensation was nothing to do with it. That had already been sorted. Rovers wanted assurances re his fitness so we didn't get caught out as we have in the past. Sensible decision making. What's wrong with his fitness? Ask his doctor

Might sound obvious but I think the holdup was probably the 2 clubs agreeing a compensation fee? Compensation was nothing to do with it. That had already been sorted. Rovers wanted assurances re his fitness so we didn't get caught out as we have in the past. Sensible decision making.

The delay has been due to an injury issue which Rovers rightly wanted to be sure was resolved in a satisfactory way ( either guarantees if it recurs, or is now totally cleared up) so I'm told.

I imagine it will look roughly like this. A friend who is working there said he believes ,as you have shown, that the pitch nearest the main road is correct, but the second pitch will run at right angles to it, with the goalkeeper training area nearest the hedge line that runs along the lane leading to the house.

So all of a sudden this next fixture at home to burton looks a odds on for a win but surely BG cant pull off the wins on the spin can he??? Strange thought process. A few days ago we were bottom.

The thing I want to know is who is funding all the wages at lower league clubs because most owners dont have the funds to bank roll players wages for a month without the club fully operating let alone the best part of a year and + I can see many clubs going bust at Christmas unless the government sort this out and fast! Why the government? It should be the greedy barstewards in the Premier League.

Why expect a tonking at Lincoln? They have three players on international duty so it gives up every chance. ( I believe one doesn't count as he has not played the requisite games so I'm told) And now their manager is bitching about us. Makes life worth living

Wael, Starnes and Widdrington have made a pigs ear of this by choosing Garner. They will compound it by delaying any sackings. The latter two get paid regardless with Wael being the only one taking any financial hit. Garner was never the right choice in a month of Sunday’s given his declared philosophy and with inheriting a team completely at odds with his beliefs. We are in a mess which needs sorting asap. Don't spread the blame. This was Waels choice pure and simple

Because I believe sacking a manager, that has been allowed to put his own squad together, after just three league games against Sunderland, Ipswich and Doncaster is ridiculous. I think the majority of our fans would have expected three losses from that start to be honest so I would like to see how we get on against some of the lesser clubs in the division before we make a decision. For me, if we were going to only give Garner 3 league games against some of the division's toughest opposition then we should have pulled the trigger in March and let somebody else do the rebuild. Do I believe we'll turn it around? Honestly no. But I do hope we do as I believe in the logic behind what we're trying to do as a club. Would have expected three losses? Did you not see the pre season garbage on here about playoffs etc? Lot of people on here expected better than we've got. This guy has taken us from top three to bottom. It doesn't matter about personnel changes, that is the only fact that matters. Give me GC's football every time over Garnerball. Winning is all that matters. I'll worry about the style when we next go to Liverpool for a league game.

This is such reactionary bull sh** ! Lol If ( and it’s a big IF) we’d of won yesterday the result would be totally different. Loads on here were lauding his summer signings and talking of a possible play off push. We could get 3 decent results in our next games and you’ll get loads saying they always thought he’d come good in the end. Getting a bit watered off with this stuff now , it’s 3 F...ing games into a new season . You gotta love the IF. If the moon was made of cheese, if Father Christmas was a gashead, if there really were unicorns. Ffs, the bloke is totally inept. He has absolutely no idea, and shouldn't have come back to Bristol (if indeed he did) on Saturday. I can only think the rose tinters who told us what fabulous players we were signing are the ones who want to give him more time. The only reason he is still here was because the person who chose him owns the club. If you are watching Wael, get rid of this joker. And for god sake stop trying to turn us into a feeder club for Chelsea. Even if we beat Northampton, he still has to go. Give the job to Hargreaves or Mansell till the end of the season, and pray. But whatever happens, if there is money in the kitty for more signings, don't let BG use it. BRFC under 21's cannot compete at League 1 level. Simples. AND FOR GOD SAKE PUT OGOGO BACK IN THE TEAM. And as for the poll, does it mean Northampton at home or when we are relegated after playing them away? Asking for a friend.
