Confuscius he say " You can buy the greatest jigsaw in the world but it will never look lovely until all the pieces are in place". He also say " an engine will not work until every component is functioning properly" He also say - Man who keeps hand in pocket, feel cocky all day. He also say, 'man who sticks prick in fire fuc*ing great'

Where are all the closet managers on here gone? The other week they were eulogising about what great signings we were making and that we could achieve playoffs this season. Just as bad as our 'manager'.
For all the pretty football this guy wants us to play, we are 'currently' in league 1. Just look at every other team in this division. They all have big strong AGGRESSIVE players up front and in the boiler room of their teams.
Keith Brookman said it yesterday. This guy didn't change anything with his subs, and it just struck me as it did with KB, that both Ayunga and Hanlon should have been tried together. And for god sake get Ogogo back into the side. That has to be the worst decision this guy has made yet. And by god he's made some bad ones.
Someone on the radio said that Garner might be a great coach but not a good manager. Just how has he even proved he's a good coach? It seems to me the answer to his future is obvious. He messed up a side that might not have been attractive, but won games. I remember clearly how happy we all were when we left Portman Road last season. Nobody complained about crap football, we had won, and that's the first priority. He then achieved a total of two victories in about 20 games. GC at least allowed us to stay up last season, not Garner. He should have been gone when the lock down came.
How long do we give him? Nowt. If he stays, the window will slam shut, and we won't be able to get more experience into the side. Some of the youngsters he has signed may or may not become good players, but they need experienced help.
Garner should be gone now.

You must never watch Rovers then because I’ve never seen a football related post from you. Seen plenty of bitching at everything else tho. You'd know. You're an expert at bitching. Still, I was getting worried when you hadn't commented.

He just fancied another rant at the owner with a load of baseless and unfounded accusations probably. With Zoom it gives you the ability to turn someone off..!! Hence not an AGM

There are ways of holding meetings beyond a handful of attendees. It’s only an agm though for a company which is majority owned br someone who is free to do whatever they like Company law

6 resolutions and one special resolution that we are asked to vote for by proxy in advance due to restricted number of people who can ZOOM in at one time. Up to an aggregate nominal value of £495,000 shares to be issued which I presume will be utilised to 'write off' the debt. Presumably the charge might then be removed. No mention of any question and answer session in any shape or form. Total farce. Wael for obvious reasons would be unable to attend, so why can he not be the sole recipient of a Zoom connection, and the meeting be held in either of the main stands? There is never more than 100 people in attendance, so if we can't manage that, how will we ever be allowed fans into the stadium? And before anyone says it wouldnt be ideal because of possible possible weather issues, we'd be there for a game, so why not? Yet another attempt to throw a grenade in a puddle and walk away. Really is getting tedious. Any chance you have a view on football? To lead a life so full of hatred, rage and bitterness is bad for both your mental , emotional and physical well being. But then we know you won't wait around to answer any questions or challenges, will you. Government advice - Where gatherings have more than 30 people, those operating venues should take additional steps to ensure the safety of the public and prevent large gatherings or mass events from taking place. See section 3 for details on what activities are permitted in multi-use community facilities. Section 3 states 3d: Meetings and civic functions We continue to recommend that where meetings can take place digitally without the need for face-to-face contact, they should continue to do so. Where community facilities need to be used for physical meetings, these meetings should be managed within the social distancing guidance and principles set out above. The principles set out in the ‘Safer workplaces’ guidance apply, including but not limited to: meetings of civic, political or community groups (e.g. parish council meeting, ward meeting of political party; charity board of trustees) MP or councillor surgery/drop-in sessions. The government is discouraging unnecessary physical attendance at meetings. Where necessary to take place physically, participants should maintain 2 metres (or 1 metre with risk mitigation) separation throughout public meetings and local consultations (e.g. planning) Local authorities in England have some powers to hold public meetings virtually by using video or telephone conferencing technology. The Government is actively discouraging meetings of more than 30 people. Serious fines and bans can be imposed by Local Authorities. Are you saying BRFC should tempt the wrath of Local Government to appease your hostility and angst? Perhaps I only imagined far more than 100 at Weston

A constructive comment from gassy? Surely not. Once per year, if you're lucky Haven't seen any comments on the playing side in a while though Wonder why, anyone would think football had been cancelled or summat

Who cares about the football that a "football club" plays, when you can just stick your oar in on the club politics every few weeks instead. I only comment on games I see.

I dont blame them for having a virtual meeting. I'm sure that if we had called a meeting for 100 people during a pandemic someone would have attempted to use that against the board. But then, I'm fairly cynical. Agreed but this is October. I watched Weston v Bath Saturday, and there were a lot more than 100 people there

In Waels defenae fans going back to watch Bristol Rovers won't be a decision made by Bristol Rovers...if you are watching football in October don't be too surprised. Regards AGM, there is never any great reveals, that us fans really want to know and get excited about...Will we ever find out more about the FM or another stadium development probably not. October? Gas Incider? Negative post? Surely not A constructive comment from gassy? Surely not.

Don't disagree with what you say singup, but an AGM is a requirement under company law, and our club should be looking to maximise the shareholders involvement, subject obviously to health considerations.
I think it would be difficult to suggest we couldn't cope with a hundred or so people in the dribuild.

Stay with the chasing pack by the New Year, recruit the one or two missing pieces in January and we could be looking well placed for a final push In January players are under contract and therefore cost. Right now there are players who don't cost that are available as well as those who cost This is where we find out just how ambitious we are, as with the stadium of course.

So we are playing both Exeter and Cheltenham who could have gone up but faltered at the last! Played Swindon already. FGR Plymouth Yeovil still to play? Support Your Local Up The West Country (Down The Beer) UTG Garner said they don't want to travel any real distance so I'd guess Plymouth may be out of the equation. But Cardiff fit the bill so my money is on them and FGR. Yeovil possibly, that'll pee off one web fingered laddy no end. There are any number of local clubs, such as Paulton Rovers and Melksham Town who have nice set ups, but Cardiff and FGR would give us a better chance of assessing our new signings the best.

East Anglian Daily Times reporting that Ipswich target JCH has been told by Ben Garner to sign an extension to his contract or he will be sold to ensure we don't lose him for nothing next summer.
His current value is supposedly £750,000.
Sorry to post more negative news guys. Thought you might be interested.

Well right now, no one has left, and no one HAS to leave. It’s not compulsory redundancy, it’s voluntary. So basically, for example, if you have someone who is 64 and about to retire at 65 and can retire, if they offered themselves to be made redundant the club would put forward a severance package. Martin Starnes is about that age is he not?

Not sure of the relevance. If only because I don't give a sh*t what happens over there. We have very few staff, so the immediate effect of any redundancies is far more traumatic in our case. Or do you think it's ok because he has let his staff go?
