Heard today that Rovers will be playing Sheffield Wednesday in Albufeira on 19th July.
The club have not made any announcement so don't know if they are arranging a trip, which will be a shame in light of the success of last years to Sabadell.

How to put a negative on a positive, step forward yet AGAIN!!!!! Chippenhamgas. Just making a factually correct point. If the demand for seats at the mem is so high why are there ALWAYS empty seats in the south and south west stand? Because of our old friends from health and safety. It's only recently that the required facilities now allow us to sell them out. That is of course if people want season tickets down there next season. Remember, we were told that the new South West stand was only for walk ups on the day.

Re pen - well, don't f**king push a player in the box then. ok, it's a bit soft, but it's not like he faked falling down. What is a ref supposed to do if a defender pushes a player in total control of the ball? Which is why Browner was stupid shoving the Shrewsbury player involved in the sending off. To be honest I didn't think the ref was going to give anything until Browner got involved. If that HAD been the case, then Browner would have been sent off and a penalty to Shrewsbury. As for our penalty, the Shrew made it easy to give the pen, as apart from obviously colliding with Bodin, he hit him from behind. Therefore no excuse.

That has got to be the softest sending off i have ever seen. The Shrewsbury striker just makes a genuine challenge for the ball (which he is entitled to). Shocking really but these things even themselves out over a season ...i suppose ? Totally agree with you Russ. At the time I thought he had made a very late challenge, but watching that replay shows how wrong I was and as has been said earlier on here it would appear Browns antics kidded the ref into believing it was a bad challenge. Agree it was not a sending off, but a definite penalty. But boy, did we make hard work of that.

Should have gone back to Sabadell. They have new sponsors as of several weeks ago and were more than happy to see us back again. Told there was an issue over their viability, but there isn't. They have a major sponsor backing them. So could have gone back there.

They have allowed it up to now because of the acres of empty seats available. In fact you can easily house 6000 away fans there. But in light of the number sold it may be different for us.
And the stewards are barstewards according to ccfc fans forum.

Stewards allow people to sit where they want at Coventry. Mind you, with having sold so many they may insist on keeping to your designated seat this time.

Just picked up an extra ticket for a friend, over 4000 sold now! Brilliant. The previous highest away following at the Ricoh this season was 2127 for a Tuesday game with Oxford. Mind you that is pretty much a local derby. On the ccfc fans forum, one of their guys said that if we sell out the whole lot it will be the highest following at the Ricoh since they were relegated to league1.

What a bunch of moaning twats some people are. They are doing the very best they can for your benefit as i very much doubt the club get any revenue from these sales, just a load of grief from some inconsiderate "fans" Actually we get 5% of the ticket sales for away games.

The sooner the club facilities online away ticket sales the better. I have called for this season after season, this Micky mouse personal visits to the club shop is an absolute p1ss take! Who actually runs the gas behind the scenes? They managed to sell 3850+ Coventry tickets, god knows how many Wimbledon tickets, and god knows how many season tickets all in the space of a few days. Not bad for a shambles of a system. You can even phone for stuff as well. New ticketing systems cost money, all subscriptions welcomed. Give Wael and co some leeway. They've only been here a year.

Just read this on one sh** team in Bristol. Still think SL should approach UWE and say "if your deal with Rovers does fall through, then Bristol sports would step in and build a indoor athletics arena there" I think UWE would get a lot more out of that, Tennis, Badminton, athletics, Gymnastics (our locals have to travel to Plymouth to train for national level) indoor tracks, basketball, handball, netball, large seating indoor venue for music / lectures / exhibitions, they would get a hell of a lot more use and income for it than football stadium - as well as Bristol / the area needing a facility like that a lot more than another footie stadium. What a pr..k Where is the other footie stadium? There is a rugby ground opposite Fords at Trashcan Gate, but can't seem to find a footie stadium other than the Mem.

Those 'selfish pricks' buying season tickets don't seem to have held up the sale of Coventry tickets though. They sold out of them remember. It was the clubs choice to decide when the s/tkts went on sale, not ours. So perhaps it's the club who are selfish. No? I thought not.

Rather see Rochdale win. If Millwall get draw it will take two games to catch them. Millwall have Sheffield Utd away next Tuesday. Ah so you have ruled out a 9-0 tonking of Coventry? Oops silly me.
