Still too generous with Lines Steve. He was appalling yet again yesterday. If we want to go up next season, I suggest we approach Walsall for their little midfield general.

Nearby so went to have a look. More and more lorries moving on and off site and earth moving gear. So as you do, wondered over and asked a couple of drivers what they were up to. One straight away said this is where the new Rovers ground is going isn't it? I said yeah. Is that why you guys are here? No, we are here to start clearing the site for the car park. Make of that what you will. As I said yesterday, if the feasibility study gives the all clear, this development will ramp up rapidly. "this development will ramp up rapidly." Meanwhile, SEVEN months later.......... The "incider" got it right again.......... Oh wait. Feasibility study was not completed until a matter of weeks ago. Also I said IF the feasibility study etc etc. What part of the written word do you not understand? By the way, a car park is not a stadium, although in your obsessed world it might be. Coats for goalposts anyone?

Dear me, I didn't know I had to respond on this thread to come online.
Suffice to say, that early bookers as usual have got the best prices, much below the suggested price, and as if you didn't know, the companieß alwYs promote one or two rooms cheap. John and Stuart are trying to put group bookings together. After the cheap one the rest cost far more.
I've no doubt prices have risen since, but good luck if you can get a cheaper.deal

Not sure why everyone is talking about 3,000, the tinternet says that stand holds 2500. Because that's what was quoted in the Police Intelligence report to Peterborough. What the stand holds is irrelevant. Of course Peterborough may only allow 2500 gas in, but that would be up to them.

Fleetwood are bottom of the heap, which suggests that a good away support just put the team off their game! Or a wealthy owner can skew the lack of attendance. Good attendances don't seem to have held back Sheffield Utd this season.

Millwall were named Family Club of the year the other night. Surely a p!ss take? Went to Millwall earlier this season, and no trouble at all. In fact very friendly.

So far in away league games we have taken 23197 to 21 games at an average of 1105 per game. The Swindon game has been counted as 414 (second game).
Last season, the average was 1136, and in the conference it was 878.

The whole Bournemouth team were full time professionals. Rovers team were all kids plus a couple of triallists. Mind you, Broom played so not sure if you call him a kid or a young man. Leave his mother to decide.

Unfortunately the thought of meeting Millwall fans after the match may put some fans off, particularly any with children, lets hope by then Millwall already missed out on a Play Off spot, if not, and they lose and so miss out then the coppers will earn their money!! I hope we get a result on Friday which should make Monday's game a very attractive one, rather than just an end of season game. P'boro could be a tough one as most teams like to win their last home game of the season. Why? For god sake, just go and enjoy it. I hope Millwall and us is a winner takes all. What an atmosphere that will be. By the way, I thought ALL teams like to win ALL their home games.

. £405/£365 for a trip that can be done for £250 or less. He's making plenty of money from Rovers fans like always. John and Stuart's deal is for HOTEL rooms, flights, transfers, brekkie, none of which are part of the Thorntons deal, and which you would not get for £250 or less. Book.com charge £385 for the same hotel on its own. When you book it, let us all know how you do it and I'm sure a lot of us will join you. In the meantime, what Thorntons are offering is fair enough if you want your missus sharing a room with other gasheads. To get a fair perspective, ask Thorntons what they would charge for the deal J & S are putting together, or even do it yourself. They are just offering an alternative option with no messing about with transfers that stop at every hotel in Portugal en route, and not worrying about self catering which I'm sure all the lads travelling will be good at coping with.

Exactly. That's what will happen here. If you are happy with either offer, then choose that one. It's great that there is a choice.

Have already paid my £365 and ma looking forward to this trip. Stop being so negative guys! Quite right fella. All they are doing is getting fans there for as good a price as possible. If Thorntons offer a better deal, of course fans will go with them.

Went on his minibuses to away matches a few times years ago, can't tell me he wasn't making money off of Gasheads the amount he charged!! Was he threatening you with a gun/ machete/ catapault at the time you travelled with him? Can you even remember how much he charged? Was it even him? I cant even remember yesterday after a few drinks.

Why do people let this guy charge them so much more? Are they that lazy that they can't be bothered to book it themselves? Why do you quote this nonsense without checking the facts?

It seems the club must be subsidising the official deals as they are far cheaper and also include a match day ticket, £235 for a flight and 4 nights named accommodation in the sun takes some beating, when compared against the £365 for the unofficial tour in so far unnamed accommodation. Sorry Topper, you really must do better. The shared apartment you are quoting is not including transfers, food, or just about anything else. Oh, but you will get a match ticket. For £365 they offer a complete package (alright you have to buy a match ticket). By the way Topper, its in a three star hotel, my sister has stayed there, it's across the road from the beach, not 2.5kms as in one of the quotes from Thorntons.

I understand that John and Stuart are taking a group to Portugal for the preseason friendly in July.
John can be contacted either at the ground or indeed on Facebook if anyone is interested.
Sorry to start a new thread but felt this warranted One as it needs prospective travellers to make contact asap.

My understanding.... BRFC is in debt to DS to the tune of about 8mil. BRFC still currently own the ground and are using that as collateral to service the debt. So effectively should it all go tits up DS will "claim" the Mem. DS are attempting to build a ground which BRFC will then use and the Mem can be sold to clear our debts. Have I got that about right? The majority of the debt at the time of these accounts is owed to our ex directors, not Dwayne Sports. That is still the situation today. The ex directors will be paid off when the Mem is sold. As you say, the sale of the Mem will also clear the debt owed re MSP. But we will still be owing millions after that, as there will be our ongoing losses and the cost of the training ground. This is where the new new stadium comes in to generate the funding of the debt, and the repayments of the building costs.

The investment section reveals that this company owns the stadium company. So, indirectly the answer is 'Yes' still own the ground. There is a little matter coming up of £50m approx to pay for a stadium and associated franchises. Chicken feed really for a Premier League team. So DC just has to get his finger out and get two more promotions. It's no good resting on his laurels after only getting two. Job half done DC. Wakes wakey.😇

Gotta say we made that hard for ourselves. Our defence almost step on Lumleys toes they play so deep. Fortunately The Dons looked like they wouldn't score in a brothel, and so it turned out.
Unfortunately, Lines didn't turn up again today, and we have no reinforcements to come in.
Anyway, four to go you never know. Let's get a massive turnout at Gills. We can do this.
