Do you not think the club didn't consider all possibility's before appointing him ? seems to be a few on here that wont give him a chance, but I think Joey is here to stay until xmas at least and if we are anywhere near the play offs, he will see out the season. Season ticket sells already around 2,000 following relegation shows a lot of people are behind him. Who knows what will happen but if he gets banged up, or banned by the FA, how do, or how will the club have considered that possibility. On the face of it, right now JB seems to have free reign to do whatever he wants despite his position being far from certain For the clubs sake, I hope JB gets a good result. Not going to look good on anyone if the club have to bin him Perhaps they've decided Clint Hill will be in charge during any ban/custodial sentence

Anybody else looked at the contracted players list and wonder how we've got lumbered with such dross? Carlts2020/Garner is on here regularly giving it the big one but looking at the players on that list apart from Jaakola and Nicholson plus possibly Kilgour and Williams, senior, I'd be glad to see the back of all of them apart from the Development Squad players, I'd imagine Barton feels the same way. Yes. My heart sank when I saw that list. 23 players, plus two more who have been offered deals. Albeit some of these are youngsters.

Why should you and all and sundry be shown the information that Joey and his staff are in possession of? He is not the one threatening legal action and is obviously keeping his cards close to his chest. If he is talking bollocks it's up to Garner and Tisdale to prove otherwise by carrying out the threat of legal action and bring things into the public domain. I very much doubt they ever will. I have heard some criticism of Garner's pre-season training. Some players felt that the way the two sessions per day were scheduled was not giving their bodies enough recovery time, which was backed up by the data on the sophisticated fitness trackers which some of them wear. I'm not a sports scientist, so have no idea if this preparation impacted longer term regarding the amount of injuries and lack of longevity in match fitness. With regards to Tisdale, I got the impression that he was not present on the training ground as much as BG had been. Begs the question, what was Tisdale up to when not at the training ground?

Very interesting that Barton has highlighted this. From what I understand its endemic in football, particularly in the lower leagues and semi-pro game.

Some credit must go to Mansell, who would have been working with him mostly since his arrival (other than the short spell he spent on loan).

Just a genuine question who we had that could do Something but lets just carry on with the players we got now because that working out brilliant at the moment? As far as I know, the players who are out on loan cannot be recalled as we are outside of the transfer window. As for reserves, the recent development game squads are a good example of players who are waiting in the wings. Personally I don't think there is anyone there who is going to come in and offer us much else.

20man talks back. It kind of gives the impression G20man is suffering barrages of criticism every week. Talkback is a term used for talk radio, most commonly in Australia but also used in some other English language countries. I think the title is a play on that. And "Clive Anderson Talks Back" I imagine

Nicholson probably not being helped by us changing managers every 5 minutes, perhaps he'll improve with a few games under JB? I was wondering last night how many managers Leahy and Rodman etc have played under in the last couple of seasons I make it: DC, GC, JD, KM, BG,KM(again when BG was on compassionate leave),TW,PT,TW (again),JB that's 10 different managers in just over 2 years! Rodman & Upson, Leahy was signed by GC.

He would give us that experience but if the budget is tight I really think we need an old head in central defence rather than midfield and a striker ahead of another midfielder. Must be one who is un-attached. Anyone know of any?? Quite a few half decent free agents about in various positions. Krisztian Nemeth, Aron Johannsson, Arni Vilhjalmsson, Tom Huddlestone, Chris Brunt, Nathan Dyer, Bakary Sako, Marc Pugh, Will Buckley, Ravel Morrison, Harry Forrester, Nathan Tormey, Henri Ogunby, Aidan Barlow, Colin Odutayo, George Thorne, Nathan Oduwa, Matthew Connolly, Joel Lynch and Jack Hobbs . Connolly likely to know Barton/Hill from QPR days. But played very little football in last 3/4 years, has he been injured?

I think Coles left a while ago. Interesting that Barton and Hill are both from Huyton, Merseyside. They also played together at QPR and Glasgow Rangers. Mangan also from Liverpool. Was he a coach at Fleetwood too? Nothing on his Wikipedia Coles returned after Tisdale was sacked.

The friction was obvious from Widdrington's comments and for whatever reason they couldn't work together. Do they have any history? What I find interesting and wonder is what a manager does when he comes into a club? Do they do one to one's, group chats etc? Tisdale came in and was saying, I need to get to know the players and in theory Tommy could/should help there. Strengths, weaknesses, why x,y,z were signed (Ayunga seems a case in point based off, of last night). Compare that to DC's interview at Port Vale I don't know whether there's any history between them but I reckon they're just 2 completely different characters with completely different methods. Widdrington is very much like DC, I think you can clearly see why they are mates, brutally honest, straight to the point, no nonsense, wear their heart on there sleeve types. Whereas Tisdale came across, imo anyway, more meticulous, calculating with just a completely different way of communicating and over complicating things certainly in interviews. PT and TW would have played together at Southampton, right?

Exeter fans can see his statement for what it is: "Ah, right, it was 'differences of opinion' that caused him to be sacked. So in other words, not his fault. Obviously.2 "It's almost written in a way that gives the impression he chose to leave. You were sacked Paul because results were p1$$ poor." "Standard tisdale waffle then. I'm just glad we don't have to put up with that anymore." www.exeweb.com/forums/threads/paul-tisdale-ex-bristol-rovers-manager.62561/page-79

I wonder how fit Tom Davies is, what we need is a talker and a leader and Davies is all of those things. He is at Barrow, and as I understand it, we can't recall him outside of a transfer window.
