Surely, realistically, it's going to happen now. We're only asking £250k which is peanuts for a championship club. If he wasn't interested it would be ruled out by now so it's nailed on, sadly. I don't agree. It seems reasonable to assume he will talk to them. I don't see how you get to Nailed on to go to Leeds from there. Because, if he didn't fancy it, Leeds would have had the message and they would be looking at someone else.

Didn't we sack him previously?
I think anyone who replaces DC would need to be capable of continuing the almost 'crazy gang' spirit that DC has created. Holloway has the potential to do that.

Can I hijack this thread by saying, if DC leaves, Ollie wild genuinely be my first choice as replacement.

But Stoke's city rivals wear White/Black not blue?! I just think there is an unwritten rule that you don't wear the same colours as your rivals. EG; Man U in Sky/White or Arsenal in White/Navy. I suppose sportswear companies don't dare risk sales numbers too much Man U are the reds and city sing blue moon yet Man U had a blue kit. Liverpool have had a blue kit. Some teams have had their traditional colours changed against the fans will! A red kit for us would sell as would a blue kit south of the river. Shame a few of our noisy fans would yelp about it. We have even cheered ex citi players in the quarters ffs. On the basis I don't own a red item of clothing, and I stop my son having red toys, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy a red rovers shirt...

Lets not forget that tha Bob the builders, milkmen and microwave sellers were the very people who kept our club going so the "financial gurus and experts in acquisitions, finance and stadium development" had a commodity to purchase. Back in the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's clubs like ours weren't sexy and only the major Prem sides had foreign investments. It was the lot of the smaller clubs to be owned and run by local guys made good. Whatever else people may say about our previous owners, they were Bristolians and Gasheads who did what they could with limited means. We should be eternally grateful to them, I know I am. Quite right, well said that man.

If Wael is not putting his hand in his pocket, I really don't understand how the financing can possibly work anywhere near £60m.
Any outside investor will want a return, at this sort of level of investment probably at least 5%. On this basis, we'll have to pay them £3m a year before we start making money ourselves.
23 league games and, say, 3 home cup games is 26. If we average 10k people paying an average of £15 (bearing in mind season tickets) that's 150k per game and £3.9m for the season, £3m to the investors and £0.9m to us to fund football side.
If we're also paying something the UWE, we're going to need to be generating serious revenue elsewhere for it to be anywhere near viable.

As 1 of the 3 in Hong Kong, would the other 2 like to reveal themselves? (Or did I hit submit 3 times by mistake).
