Nothing to add, just posting to make this thread even longer than it will be already.

Another good sign that the boss won't be held to ransom over wage demands. There's an offer on the table for what he thinks they're worth and you either take it or move on. Or a bad sign that there's just no money, as I can't imagine Monkey wanted mega bucks to stay. The lack of transfer activity is now becoming a worry. And we're off. First runner, 23rd June, 2 months before first game.

www.representyourclub.comWe're one place and 8 votes behind the forces of darkness. Can't see the list, but if there's any exciled Gas in Hong Kong then let me know as I'm about to move there.

I find these views staggering. North of the river is traditionally Gas, Bris, and Glos cricket. For Rovers fans to be hoping that Bristol lose is quite sad really, and as someone who is in Wircester tonight, it makes it even harder to take. Perhaps the traditional feelings to support the teams from where you were born/brought up are being eroded. When you grew up near Bath in the 80's, being a Rovers fan (playing at Twerton) and a Bath fan (best team in country) was pretty logical!

Am I allowed to be a Bath Rugby and Rovers fan?
As such, with the Landsdown factor, pretty pleased that they have another year in obscurity.

I've missed these threads.... [insert name I've never heard of] has been released by [random club], was great 5 years ago and could be a great signing. Next step is that he gets signed up by [another random club] and we never hear of [insert name I've never heard of] again. Well I enjoy them. You don't have to read them, of course. Fair response mate! However, when there's a thread with a player's name, you click it because you think it might say we've signed them or are in talks with them. It's always a disappointment when it follows the format above!

There should be a 1 in 16 chance of winning two playoffs in a row, and we've done it. Fair play to DC, he's managed 3 in a row... 1 in 64! 1 in 9 surely?? So 3 in a row would be 1 in 27 Back to school young man...

One of the conditions for acceptance into the league is security of tenure. If you are unable to show you have permission to play at your own ground for a minimum of 10 years then you will be refused entry to the league, you cannot be accepted if you ground share elsewhere. I'm only watching from a distance but I would say it is important that any change that affects your right to play at the mem happens after the Football league AGM in 2 weeks time so it doesn't affect your promotion. I'm sure your owners will be aware of this and will ensure isn't a problem but I thought you should know the situation with regards to promotion from the conference to the league. I do wish people would stop the scaremongering. IF we won the case and Sainsbury's booted us out, any local club (apart from one) would gladly allow us as tenants with a 10 year lease to provide certainty. We would then have a break clause after 2 years to allow us the certainty, but then provide us with our route to the UWE.

Lose Balanta, Baggie, Monkhouse, Mildenhall, Puddy.
Not sure how anyone can advocate losing Easter. Based on nothing I fear Ellis may leave us.
Will be interesting test of Clarkey's ability to be ruthless with what is clearly a very tight knit squad.
Think we need a new keeper, winger (x 2) and a striker (if Ellis leaves).

All the ex players in attendance yesterday. Barry Hayles, Andy Tilson, Matty Harrold, Ollie, Jo Kuffour, Byron Antony etc. This club stays with you. You can add the Duke to that list. Was in the upper tier, posing for photos and genuinely seemed like a top bloke.

www.toffs.com/bristol-rovers-197980-bukta-retro-football-shirtAnyone else tempted by one of the above? Not sure it would arrive in time now, but looks smart. Imagine a world where your football club would facilitate you buying a new shirt for a Wembley final rather than having to source through eBay or Toffs...

36.5k sold to date per the Conference at 5pm yesterday.
Rovers confirmed we had sold 21.5k on Thursday. I therefore think we'll end up taking 25-30k.
Grimsby last update was 6k, presumably they'll get to something like 15k? Maybe 5k neutrals (God knows why!). Therefore, I reckon it'll end at around 50k.
As someone who was desperate to get their tickets sorted, really can't understand why some people wait to buy their tickets. Just logistically getting hold of the tickets makes buying next week problematic?

Just tried to buy my 3 and it's giving me block 547 row 20. Having looked on the stadium plan, looks like some pretty average seats in top tier on an angle.
Should I wait to try to get lower row or better block or will it only get worse?!
