Indefinite bans seems a bit OTT. No doubt this will have an impact on additional revenue such as shirts, beer and pasties. Once people are told they are not allowed to attend they are lost forever, so that is a pretty big loss of potential earnings. Why not have a more Holtby-esque approach. We know who you are, make a £20 quid donation to the community trust, don't do it again and well say no more - but we will be watching you. Overall the club had probably lost more money going cashless. You think the people who are ripping off the Club via tickets are the sort to be buying lots of shirts, beer & pasties?

I guess it’s a bit like self service tills in a supermarket, you’re always going to get some dishonest people who don’t zap an item or two . You save on the wages though , just like doing away with turnstile operators. The supermarkets factor in that loss compared to the savings on wages. Some people will always be dishonest if they think there’s little chance they will be caught. Next step will be facial recognition every time we enter the ground ! Balaclava on standby.

Let's just hope Wael doesn't get fed up with reading posts about he's not doing enough, how we haven't improved, decides to take the financial hit and sell the Quarters, sell the Mem, and walks away with us wondering what we're going to do every Saturday afternoon. I hope he’s got a thicker skin baggins! I’m sure he has being in business. And I’m sure he’s had worse than my post. I tried to be balanced, credit where credits due but also being held to what he said. 🤔 UTG! Fair shout Chap, off to enjoy my Friday night, fingers crossed for tomorrow. Come on Rovers!!!

Cheer up. We are mid-table in L1 with plenty of big teams in the division with fans who expect even more. Staying afloat is more than some fans get. of course we are all ambitous, but unless you have the cash or know someone with it willing to lose millions, just enjoy it! He's improved things (except the stadium) and fans are mainly happy and watching and buying season tickets. Dark blue doesn’t need me to back him up, he can do that himself, but he is right. The bottom line is as it is in ‘16 with the exception of the training ground. People always use the “plenty of big teams in League 1” argument to stop us expecting any more than we’ve got. I suspect had we had that new ground we could have been one of those big clubs. Like others I like Wael and the things he’s done but the priority back in ‘16 was the new ground and it still is, just like it’s been for nearly 40 years. Come on percy “staying afloat” isn’t more than some fans get, most EFL clubs do that. The argument used by some about “spending someone else’s money” is also a tad disengenuous. I don’t think it’s a valid argument, if you haven’t got the money to waste then don’t get into it in the first place. It’s no good buying a club and then saying we haven’t got the money to do this or that. And that’s esp true of Wael given one of his first interviews after buying us when he said “finance wasn’t a problem,” clearly it is. Before others say I’m anti-Wael, I’m not, I love the things he’s done but it’s low-lying stuff compared to the new ground and for as long as that remains the case well stay in the lower leagues swapping between good and bad years of promotion and relegation. It’s the clear lack of a plan as to what to do. This new proposal re the South Stand could / should have been done years ago, that it’s being done now tells me that Wael is no further along with permanent plans now than he was back along. And I do just enjoy it as I’ve always done, even the Burton match and that first goal and I’m already looking forward to the FGR away match. But if Wael takes the applause when good things happen then he should also be criticised when important stuff doesn’t. UTG as always! Let's just hope Wael doesn't get fed up with reading posts about he's not doing enough, how we haven't improved, decides to take the financial hit and sell the Quarters, sell the Mem, and walks away with us wondering what we're going to do every Saturday afternoon.

No it's not, it's the cost of running a Football Club, and we should all thank Christ he's prepared to keep us afloat. Name one decision he's made that's cost us. As for standard of Football, I've enjoyed it for the last few Seasons. was it three managers we were paying at one time and two CEO'S. Some of the high level recruitment was shocking. How the hell he thought Garner and the bloke from Exeter was good recruitment God only knows. His deficiency in those areas ultimately cost him big time in losing players at significant times and in some cases huge cost. At the end of the day it's his money and his club, he can do what he wants with it and in fairness you rarely hear him whinge about it Other than still being in existence I don't get any indication the club has moved forward. I personally don't think he understands the embarrassment surrounding the clubs home ground and I think he's been too slow in doing something about that. You don't know what players he lost because of Managerial appointments, or do you? But other than keeping the Club going, by spending tens of millions, and ignoring my list of how he's spent it, other than announcing he's secured 10 acres of land and paying £60 mil on a new Stadium, he's still not done enough for you.

Apart from the £35 million debt he wrote off and the £1 million Training Ground, the £3 million he writes off every year, paying to keep the Club alive through Covid, Fans Zone, yep, pretty much the same. How's that different from any other football league club.. it's hardly got us anywhere. Don't get me wrong he's a nice bloke but the standard of football is right back where he started. If I'm honest I haven't got a clue what the clubs objective is other than just about staying afloat. A lot of the money he's writing off is down to some bloody awful decision making and recruitment on his part. No it's not, it's the cost of running a Football Club, and we should all thank Christ he's prepared to keep us afloat. Name one decision he's made that's cost us. As for standard of Football, I've enjoyed it for the last few Seasons.

Plenty of people were talking about us after the final day of last season. Eddie the Eagle and the Jamaican bobsleigh team weren't short of publicity, but hardly a force in their respective fields. I don't see any signs of us developing as a club under Wael whatsoever For all the talk we're pretty much where we were 6 years ago in a more dilapidated stadium Apart from the £35 million debt he wrote off and the £1 million Training Ground, the £3 million he writes off every year, paying to keep the Club alive through Covid, Fans Zone, I think he also paid for several Club Coaches and fans tickets for cancelled away trips, yep, pretty much the same.

A straightforward, honest answer, with no digs at other posters - I like it! It's not the people who don't like Barton who make digs at other posters. It's the ones who do like him who go on the attack when anyone dares to suggest that Barton might not be the ideal kind of character to be managing our club. Everyone's choice I guess. Don't like him and stay away because of him? Fair enough. Couldn't care less and attend because they just want to see the Rovers? No worries. Not sure one set digs more at the others to be honest. Time to let it go, he's been here 2 years.

How are they going to Police the pushing in the North Stand? Send in a few Stewards? Can't see that going very well.
How are they abusing the ticket situation? Someone gets admitted and then they're finding a way of passing the ticket to someone not yet admitted?

Having watched some FA Cup football this week on TV, featuring teams we used to play against it's apparent we don't even register as an embarrassment any more. It's coming to pass that the Rosy cheeked tax exile could have been right in his comment about us all those years ago. Weal's a lovely bloke and done loads for the club and his instagram account but it looks like he's reached the end of this particular evolution. The club are crying out for someone with a can do attitude to get us into the later stages of the 20th Century What makes you think Wael has reached the end of this evolution? Because no news on a Stadium?

Maybe it’s different for commercial but it’s like £250. I sincerely hope we’re not that stingy when it comes to something important like this. I meant delaying the whole project if we were relegated not just the pp application! According to GGMI we're safe.

Boris speaks..... "More now from Boris Johnson, who was addressing the Global Soft Power Summit this afternoon. In his speech, he admitted that he made mistakes in signing his Northern Ireland Protocol that caused the DUP to walk out of powersharing because of trade barriers in the Irish Sea. "I thought those checks would not be onerous since there isn't that much stuff that falls into that category; most of the goods stay in Northern Ireland," he said. Muttering, the former prime minister added: "It's all my fault, I fully accept responsibility." Oh, and Isabel Oakeshott. Why?? He fully accepts responsibility? What about the other sh1t he's responsible for?

I sometimes go to games on my own, sometimes with a friend or family member. If I get a season ticket it seems I won't be able to sit next to my guest which rather defeats the point. Its a shame as I would be tempted otherwise. Buy both seats? 🙂

The club's probably waiting to ensure we're definitely a L1 side next season before spending money submitting the plans on the planning portal? Maybe it’s different for commercial but it’s like £250. I sincerely hope we’re not that stingy when it comes to something important like this. Peanuts in the scheme of things.

I'd hope they have exemptions for this. I've missed a few games this season where I have got near the ground but had to turn back at the last minute due to health on the day. Just waiting for the club to get back to me on changing east terrace to east seating ST. Q & A's didn't cover this You'd like to think that they would make an exemption for certain conditions. You have up until 10 a.m. on the day of the game to list your ticket, however, in my own case, I am planning to go but am sometimes unable to get myself out of the house at departure time, due to anxiety issues. I think that I'd be a definite red card. I can't see Rovers being quiet as cut throat as Brentford regarding having to sell your Season Ticket if you can't make the match
