I may be wrong but it is just my feeling that our Manager does not have connections when it comes to new signings. Most of his signings have been highly questionable as regards number of appearances they have made whilst here. Steve that truly is nonsense!

Proof is in the pudding - we’ve needed wide men all season and maybe another striker for me and so far we have nothing. We have had months to plan for this! Unacceptable really if nobody is in by Blackpool on Saturday. Exactly how I see it too , I'm sorry if it upsets anyone but I have no confidence in our new owners. Hoping we hear of some news tomorrow so I can then say I was wrong. Everyone knows prices are inflated in the January window - need to tread carefully, I would rather 2 decent signings by 31st Jan than 5 panic buys you are stuck with for a couple of years.

Well I bet if DC has any regard for him whatsoever he could be rejoining us as he will be desperate for a job, knows the ropes here & lives locally. I would not be at all surprised to see him come back.....OMG.

To be fair, we've now lost both our top scorers in successive January's, still not got the right infrastructure to compete top end of league 1. Our spending over the next month will indicate how much our owners are willing to back us. Good luck for the rest of the season, and enjoy BB👍 You are right we are not in a position to challenge at the top end of L1 financially, stadium wise, infrastructure etc etc better to consolidate and hopefully start getting things right off the pitch as well as on it before charging headlong at the Championship which would definitely be a step too far at the moment.

What about Pompey left winger is it Kennedy? He was brilliant against us on Monday! Why would he Leave pompey and join us? they are a big club who are looking to be back in Championship soon. We are a club who sold our best striker to the Shi* and now sold our best midfielder for peanuts Reported £400k to a mid table championship side. And by bodins comments he couldnt wait to get out! No surprise if his wages go from £100kpa to somewhere near £500kpa - wouldn’t you be desperate to go? This should come as no surprise to anyone.

Cut our losses and get rid of him if we can in the January window. Adds nothing to the side & at half time yesterday was given 1/10 by Gasheads around me! If you think Nichols is the problem then you're in for a shock when we sell him and replace him for someone who will get the same criticism because as someone has pointed out the forwards aren't the problem, its the service they are being given.
Bodin had 2/3 men marking him yesterday at a time, and Walsall could afford to do this because our left side going forward is something that Patchway Town wouldn't want to be associated with.
The lack of width and creativity on the wing is appalling and means we are always trying to create chances down what is already a packed middle.
I honestly can't believe people are looking past this and trying to scapegoat one new player.
I agree the forwards are not the problem as Ellis, Rory & Billy have a decent goal return. However Tom has without doubt been a massive disappointment and never looks like causing the opposition a problem let alone score a goal. He doesn’t put in a shift like Ellis or Rory & he hasn’t got Billy’s skills - sadly I don’t know what he has got but I’m sure The Posh laughed their stock off when we came in with such a ridiculous offer. Yesterday with Billy being marked by 2/3 defenders it should have left room for Tom to look lively but he was never in the game & the one chance he got he made a half hearted attempt at. A very very poor signing.

Desperate for leadership from the top.Statements not forthcoming still,so presume they have no reassurances to give.I feel as if we are drifting as a club with a total lack of direction.Said on TV to-day ,Wimbledon's new build begins in January. Our club is not keeping pace to such an extent that little clubs are leaving us way behind.Sad ,but I will never stop supporting my team even if we end up in the Conference again.Respect the Rose Tinters optimism but it is unfounded I fear.If Wael etc don't intend to get us a new stadium, training ground, invest in the team etc ,they need to tell us and not allow us to drift even further.Sooner or later I fear the EFL will inform us we no longer conform to minimum standards with disabled facilities etc. Really not bothered about the other Bristol team but in truth they are miles ahead. Glad I didn't go to-day but even if we stuff Donny, the silence from above is deafening and very worrying.Tell us Mr Wael, where we stand please. Surely we all know where we stand - we will spend what we can, as in the Summer, more than most in this League - but we won’t spend what we can’t. It’s widely acknowledged that City’s new Trainng Ground plans are the result of more than 2 years planning & about 20 years investment of over £150m from Steve Lansdown, we are not in that league, nor is any L1 club

And that's the point, isn't it. It's all very well winning a game 11 - 0, but you have to wonder why we were playing against such lowly opposition. There's absolutely no challenge or opportunity for development in playing against a team so obviously inferior. I would like to see this squad go up against some reserve teams from league 1 & 2. That would give a more accurate indication of where these players are, and who's worth retaining etc. This was just a one off friendly. They normally play their equivalent in the Central League against the likes of Southend, MKD, Exeter, FGR. Clubs don’t seem to have “reserve” teams anymore but development squads which in our case in particular seems a huge step forward from where we were a year or two ago.

Even if that all happened we'd still be better off than with those 3 in charge of the club. If they can revive the UWE stadium project then at least we might a future if the ALQ's now have no interest in investing anymore money. Do you really mean that?

Why would the owner even say "support the club until march 2018?" Its hardly a confirmation of undying loyalty is it? Oh come on - it’s in every set of account produced - Accountancy terminology!

Ellis has the ability and attributes to play at a higher level. Some of the things he does are above and beyond L1. I have said it for ages that if he left us he would have plenty of options. You only have to see the long distance effort he had tipped over the bar and his goal to see he can definitely do it. As everyone says it's now about consistency but I think that will follow if he can keep knocking the goals in. Well done lad & UTG.
