What I would say is. We are going to lose players like Evans and Thomas. I can't see them hanging around just to be a top 10 league 1 club. Probably seen them for last time in the quarters yesterday. I am not full of confidence has to be said. Love to be proven wrong. But does feel like weve gone backwards again. Agree, in reverse at the moment and the owner talks a good game but hes not from this industry and doesn't like taking advice from people in it.By which you mean the fans forum experts? Pretty sure he's taken advice from actual professionals in the game.

Of course, this MIGHT have worked well for Rovers this season. So the Norwich away game was drawn and goes to penalties .... oh, hang on, maybe not so good! But seriously, IF we'd beaten Norwich on penalties, then Liverpool away would have made us loads of cash. I'm still totally against the idea though and it's just about pleasing the Premier League teams and only 6 or 7 of them play in the European cups anyway, so the replays hardly affect the 13 other teams. I'd go for "if you're in a European cup competition, you can't play in the FA Cup and replays will be as they always were".

How good were Joeys boys yesterday, dear o dear Jordi Rossiter how we have missed him, he ran the midfield for 55 minutes, making big tackles, directing proceedings before going off with what looked like another injury (lets hope not), and then there was Anthony, "joey bartons man" captain marvel, he was sensational (apart from his scuffed penalty), sprayed the ball about with an aplomb; it will be a travesty if he decides to go back to his native North West, unfortunately thems the breaks. Special shout out to Scotty Sinclair, quite probably his swan song moment, that said he looked and played like he had borrowed a younger mans pair of hamstring muscles, as he genuinely, since his returned to the club, showed a real turn of pace, scored a goal and should have had a second. That said CTFC were terrible and BRFC completely put them to the sword, a great job done. So it's Joey's players when we've played well 🤡 2 of our goalscorers yesterday are definitely NOT Joey's boys.

I've not got any hopes left for this season but have been wondering whether tomorrow is it, with a weak performance and a 2/3 goal loss? That reaction at full time felt like the end for me.. I'm pretty sure MT will be allowed the close season to bring in "his" players. If next season starts as badly as this season is ending, he will be in real trouble. Don't forget he was a hero of the fans around Christmas time when we were beating Bolton, Portsmouth, Charlton etc - so is he suddenly an inept manager, are the issues due to the injury list, or is there a lack of confidence which followed those two home games v Fleetwood and Burton which is where the wheels fell off our season?

Am I missing something here - 9 pages about an allegation that TG has left the club when in fact, he hasn't. Must be a slow news week!

1-1 draw - Derby missing a few first team regulars apparently.

Stop making ridiculous suggestions about Tom Gorringe then - I get it, you don't like him!

Don't think there will be much take up. From what I can see there have been no bids so far - probably because the starting bid price seems to be set at £183 for shirts 1-10 and £283 for #1883. Mental. And there doesn't seem to be any indication of sizing, maybe you get to choose if you win the auction. All seems a bit ill thought out. Please, someone, send Tom Gorringe to prison. Grow up!

Er - Matty Taylor anyone? Maybe we'll see how our fans react when Azza is down with Bolton - my reaction will be applause prior to the game after his great season and a half and silence about him during the game. Will applaud him as he leaves the pitch at the end of the game.

As posted on another thread the game has already sold out for away fans, even though the game could yet get postponed because of international call ups. I’ve just gone on our website to see what the ticket situation is only to find that tickets are STILL on sale for the Burton and Carlisle games that have already been played but not the Reading game! Who is meant to be in charge of the website? Anyone? Embarrassing. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/tickets/home-tickets/Slightly misleading - if you click on either of these games it states clearly that they have already taken place. Yes, maybe they should have been removed but tickets are NOT on sale.

Just a thought. Has anyone seen the adverts for "The Nest" Norwich City's training facilities. They host tournaments for teams (mainly youngsters from across the world) with accommodation on site , lecture and conference facilities etc. Just wondered how much additional income that generates for Norwich City and whether it's something we could look at to make use of land and provide additional income. You've just confessed to watching GB News you rogue! Just like me....... I don' t think The Nest is advertised anywhere else?

Maybe he's learned a lesson from Tuesday - but why not Connolly, what was the point recalling him?

Really hard to call this one - both teams missing 10 1st team players. However, our players must take confidence in how they staged that comeback on Tuesday against a much harder team to beat than Northampton, so I'm going for a 1-0 win today. Sinclair to score!

Adults tickets are a fair price for the going rate (which is too much but that’s not our failt) Children’s tickets are a disgrace when compared with what’s going on across the river. Incredibly short sighted 27k capacity v 12.5k might help to explain that one

He appears very confident in the decisions he makes and has a determination to succeed. However fell over 2x taking clearances and a few iffy balls upfront to nobody. Things to work on but overall excellent so far. This I do agree with him, his distribution is an obvious weakness atm but that’s fine. His job is so stop the ball going into the goal and barring a fluke deflection last Saturday, he’d be at 180 minutes without conceding and two clean sheets to accompany the many brilliant saves. I like us playing with a purpose and building from the back but not the be all end all and Jed will improve his kicking with time. But still way better than Matt Cox's distribution, which was always weak.

Sorry but not happy, we sell Collins and bring in three loan signings until end of season why ? what is the point ? all young players with little or no league experience, they will go back to their clubs and we will have to have yet another reset, which will mean yet another season of adjusting etc etc, loan signings are not the way to build a team for the future, and now desperately short up front, Oh well sure our new owners know what they are doing, Oh to be a Gashead eh !! Remember similar comments when we signed JCH and Elliot Anderson! Who know, maybe a fresh look and high energy will result in a rapid rise up the league. Maybe not, but Azza hasn't really been near his best this season and there was no indication he would have improved in the next three months or so, so I believe selling him was the right choice, although his contribution to the club over the least 3 seasons has been remarkable overall.

I'm going for match postponed - it's filthy weather in Horfield at the moment and not looking like improving. The last time we played in these conditions was against Plymouth in the trophy last season and it wrecked the pitch for the rest of the season! If it's on, then surely the south stand will reach the 75% capacity as I wouldn't want to be on the East Terrace tonight!
