I had a look around the area today. First of all, the roof is on the stand but no seats, nor any seats in the SW stand at present. The cladding is on the SW stand and partially on the south stand. I took photos but the forum website won't accept them as they are over 1MB. I also took photos of all the surrounding streets and (surprise) there's hardly any parking spaces available on a working day when people should be at work. I though I might send them to the planning people to show parking isn't just a matchday issue but my wife reckons that would more than likely prove the point the residents are making about parking. Whilst I was in Alton Road taking photos a resident asked me what I was doing and she is furious about the objections being raised by her neighbours - she lives right at the top end too! Her only request (she was joking) was for the crane to move her hot tub! Anyone know how to reduce the file size of JPEGs? If so I'll put up a couple of photos. If you're on a pc or laptop you should have under Windows Accessories something called Paint where you can paste your JPEG. Then click on Resize and you can either reduce the percentage or the Pixels. Then click on File, Save As, JPEG.

Our fruit market video was loads better than that. 1-0 gas. Maybe, but Oxford have a 75% better chance of actually building whatβs in their video. You mean just like Swindon's great new stadium by the M4? I remember the outcry a few seasons back when that one was announced and Rovers had no sign of any development. A fancy video and good intentions don't always mean something is a cast-iron certainty!

To add data breaches can happen because someone with the data does something careless with it and misplaces it, or it can be acquired by hackers. Hackers will be after financial information or compromising information on individuals that allows them to carry out identity fraud or to find a scoop that allows them to blackmail or embarrass someone they have an agenda against. They probably donβt want data from little old Bristol Rovers theyβll be going after the likes of big banks and insurers. Not saying weβre risk free or that the information isnβt valuable but weβre probably not worth the effort! The valuable data weβd have is probably actually held by our third parties such as TicketMaster and payment processors for the retail site on our behalf. Which just leaves a list of email addresses and postal addresses of supporters. And what are you going to do with that? Send an email to the support base with an underhand email? Obviously this stuff still has value from an identity theft perspective but again, bigger targets exist if you want that and a lot is already in the public domain. And if someone at the club has provided the data to someone else then they have broken the law and behaved in an underhand way. That could happen to any organisation. But there is absolutely zero evidence of that having actually happened. Meanwhile, can we now get back to moaning about not having full life histories of the new owners, why we don't have grand plans for a new stadium to be opened next year etc. etc. 3 pages about an alleged data breach which seems to have affected only 2 people? Really?

Thereβs actually lights attached to the roof of the stand to help with the floodlight issues, if you look closely in that photo you can see them. I think someone said after the last home game the current lights on the stand are temporary, proper ones still to be added They certainly looked temporary!

My own conspiracy theory (and it just that!) is that Tristan Crama won't be back for months yet and Ayala would be a temporary replacement with a three month contract.

Yeah I'm on board. It would be nice to get a 'vision statement' or something though..otherwise what are we doingπ€·ββοΈ Gorringe has zero plan he makes it up week by week so don't expect any vision statement because he hasn't got one Newbie with an axe to grind by the sound of it!

Am I missing the point? This thread was supposed to be about JB charging to view his Twitter/X posts. When it transpired this was to raise funds for Nick Anderton, the criticisms about him daring to charge suddenly turned into moans about everything else he has said/done/not done. His private life is just that - private - and if I had his wealth, you can be certain I would also find the best tax avoidance schemes available. And if any of you says you wouldn't do the same I'd suggest you are either liars or deluded!

I wonder when we will know if the Fruit Market stadium is now dead in the water? Would be a terrible decision to walk away from the FM imo. Surely that depends on what the deal is with the developers. As far as I can tell from the limited details we have confirmed as opposed to speculation, the deal involves Rovers handing over the whole Memorial Stadium site, the developers building a new stadium and Rovers signing a long (100 years?) lease to play there at a guaranteed low rental. That all sounds fine BUT there is talk, not yet confirmed, that the developers expect to receive significant revenue from the stadium and, if reports are accurate, the Rovers owners feel that this is one step too far. If that is indeed the case, walking away is the only logical answer. We would all love to have a nice modern stadium but not if it involves giving too much away.

Eliot in another 7-0 scoreline and played from the start! Still 9 minutes left though - could he be there for an 8 or 9-0 scoreline?

Looks like the seats have been installed on the West Stand side, bloody green seats! Wtf. Surely they should be Blue or at least white... Think they're temporary seats, sure the real ones will be blue and white!

How so? None of them hit the bar so what was the criteria for good or bad effort here? Who Cares ? Exactly! What is the point of this thread which I assume was started by an anti-Barton supporter.

what is light hearted humour to some is not to others. I have had a drunken gashead trying to pick a fight at an away game as he considered that i was not a " real fan". This despite a 30 year Rovers history and going to most away games. Thirty years is that allπ After fifty years I'm passed caring anymore, sort of a clapping moaner πππππππππππ Oh, you Johnny come latelys!! 4 more seasons and I've put up with supporting Rovers for 70 years!

Last night showed what a weak link Finley is in the team.
Bogarde, Evans, Woods, playing progressive football. Trying to get us on the front foot, moving the ball around nice, working hard. Finley hasn't been at the races all season long.
What does he add to this side?
Mistake to make him captain.
He can go out on loan in January as far as I'm concerned.
There are better footballers like Grant Ward and McCormick who deserve to be sniffing around on the bench for that shirt.
Last night showed nothing of the sort! Over the season so far, perhaps he's not been at his best but last night he was effective in a slightly more forward position than he has been playing.

missing it due to holiday (also PTSD after the same game last season!) Know the feeling - but it was the most entertaining game all season, result aside!

Isn't today the day the Planning Officer was going to agree (or reject) the plan? I'm sure I've seen 24 August quoted earlier in this thread.
