In my opinion this is a little bit, complete and utter nonsense. Our history doesn't give us a divine right to anything, correct - no one has any divine right to anything. However, what our history has given us are a series of assets which, if they hadn't been f**ked up a wall, would mean we shouldn't be where we are. Our former successes have gifted us the following: - a larger fanbase than most at this level, the level above and the level above that; for clarity - that means higher income via gate receipts, merchandise and other revenues (50/50, programs, pasties, pints, SC, FFSC etc) - revenues from the sale of quality players - A shop window for our club to attract players, managers, backroom staff (which apparently we haven't been able to do for the last four years) - A shop window to attract investment - PRIZE MONEY and TV revenues; Play off winners, second place in JPT, Quarter finals of FA Cup. I just couldn't disagree more with the "We are where we are" attitude. It is symptomatic of the lazy, unimaginative, Americanised, blame free, culture that pervades our wider society. It's a consequenceless shrug of the shoulders and it is complete and utter bulls**t. If in three years time I was a shambolic waster with no job who had given up all my qualifications and ignored my work with just the hope of one dodgy del-boy sale of my only asset to a local supermarket to help me survive I don't think that when my parents, my family, my former tutors and teachers and friends say "What happened? We gave you everything, why didn't you build on the success we helped you to have instead of throwing everything away?" that my response would not be "Hey, I am where I am". The first step toward recovery is to admit you have a problem. Well said! and those events were in the last 7 years!

DC will be gone by the New Year.
We should be romping this league.
Any fan who knows the history of this club will know that we shouldn't be where we are know.
The board of directors and manager are responsible for the demise of our football club.

DC starting to get a bit bolshy in interviews. Remember what we as fans have been through, please. And don't forget our history. This isn't a Conference football club. He's beginning to sound more like Paul Buckle by the day!

Has Clarke blamed the fans for the latest debacle or the players & himself?

Is this an early April Fool Mr Watola!
I wouldn't trust our board with my last fiver, let alone £23 per game!!!
They should be managing quite nicely as it is!!!

At no point have I said that boarding the team bus is acceptable! If fans are getting on the bus in anger, they perhaps should reconsider why they go to football. If we lose three games in the next six games, DC will be under enormous pressure. Still think fans won't accept anything less than top 5. If you do, then you listened to Paul Buckle!!! I'm sorry, but a full time squad should be beating a part time squad - 9 times out of 10!!! I'm quite happy with 4th place, and come April, we can be playing with bigger crowds ready for the auto promotion push!!! You need to get this full time/part timer rubbish out your head mate. So if we lost to Woking who are near the top then you would be more disappointed than say losing to Lincol ? Just because Woking are part time? A team practicing it's job on a full time basis should be better than a team that trains 3 evenings a week having completed a full days work! Anything wrong with that line of thinking? I expect Rovers to win every game they play, and always have done!!! It doesn't mean I stand on the terraces yelling at players or the manager for 90 minutes.

I can see why fans are angry at a 0-0 at Alfreton in front of 880 fans!
Lots of our fans will remember games against clubs now in the Premier League and Championship and won't find it acceptable! I'm guessing it's frustration that causes the anger!
It's not the current squads fault, but who doesn't expect to win a game like that!!!
Perhaps the chairman needs to come out and ask the fans to get behind the current squad, and state that the reasons for relegation lie firmly at his door and the squad of 2013/14. Throw in the UWE and a striker and all will be rosy!!!

Are there any remaining hoops to jump through? The majority of Rovers fans won't believe anything until they are sat in their seat at the UWE! We'll see how confident Sainsbury's are now! I've a sneaky suspicion that this has played out perfectly for them! They've held all other parties to ransom and now have the extended hours that they wanted!!! Glass half full - onwards & upwards! If Sainsbury's give us £30m, I'll let them have the £70 on my Nectar card!Na going to use my nectar points for a PS4 at Argos If Henbury Gas is still shopping at Sainsbury's, then I'm feeling even more confident! On second thoughts, that's a couple of bottles of champagne!!!
