The Exeter stewards in the hospitality seats only warned Rovers fans about celebrating after Exeter fans had rightly celebrated their 2 goals. Bit odd on the timing! I don't care who celebrates a goal, but if you are in the home stand, then maybe some restraint has to be shown when your team scores? Not sure we held back in the last minute though I seem to remember that FGR upset a few fans by celebrating at the Mem. I have friends who work at SJP and they didn't seem overly concerned by any of it and all agreed a fair result. Usual great day out in Devon had by all.

You'd have to be desperate to take the Rovers job at this point.
Best opportunity would be as a new manager in L2 rather than the manager who failed to turn this week squad around and took them down!

The whole point of out of town stadiums is that there isnt anything around.
You go to your football club for food and beer!

For "big signings", please refer to the thread on "The First Domino has Fallen".
I'm expecting a squad of youngsters who have been released by Premier and championship clubs at best. The hope will be that some will take on board what BG is trying to do.
Would rather see us do this within a tight budget regardless of where we end up.

The football club would get a few million quid for the privilege.
They would also lose more fans than they gain.
You'd be watching in front of crowds of 2,000. No atmosphere, minimal away fans.
Leagues 1, 2 and non-league need to tell the FA that they are walking away from their organisation and starting again.

I wouldn't dig deep in the current climate I'm afraid. I've kept my business intact by having enough in the bank to survive for 6 months with no future business. Football is a ridiculous business built on sand!
If I was asked to buy a seat in a new stadium, you'd get a different answer!

Is this a case of another business based offshore claiming help from the UK government and therefore the British tax payer? Nope. BRFC 1883 LTD are British based business, trading in Britain, employing British workers and paying British taxes. They are entitled to claim government help just as much as any other business is, in order to keep itself afloat. Just checking before I give up on football altogether.

Hello folks – Stoke fan here in peace. I work on the ‘Duck’ fanzine and I’m planning a different type of article for our next issue – out whenever something approaching normal matchdays return to our lives once more. I aim to ask supporters of several clubs 5 questions about their perceptions of Stoke City in order a to create a big feature article “Us and Them.” For the following questions, feel free to answer in varied depth/ brevity but a couple of sentences at least for each is ideal: 1. Generally how do you see Stoke City the club – a rival? Non-entity? Certain type of club? Disdain? Admiration? Pity?! As a fixture – is it of general appeal? 2. Are there any Stoke players/ teams that have made an impression on you over the years? 3. Are there matches between your team and Stoke you recall hating/ loving? 4. In home / away matches, what have you made of the Stoke support? Any particular memories? 5. The Victoria Ground/ The New One – what did/ do you make our of our home ground(s)’ the grounds? Any particular experiences or impressions? Given our reputation over the years, this could be a risk but then again, it would be great if I could glean a diverse range of honest/ diverse/ cutting/ funny/ serious or even complimentary views. If you can be arsed, thanks for your time. Take care of yourselves, Lee Hawthorne orfyduckmag 1. Good solid club Stoke City - proper football club. 2. Paul Randall and Carl Saunders. 3. None - one against Port Vale that brings back memories! 4. And 5. Watched Stoke v Arsenal in the FA Cup stood in the home end at Victoria Park. Good game and good atmosphere. Saunders played.

The fact that Spurs and other PL clubs have furloughed their non-playing staff says it all for me.
Mansfield Town players have taken a pay decrease and some on £2.2k per week!
Top to bottom - the games gone and is rotten to the core.
I'd canceling Sky Sports subscription info had one!

Until the club cut wages to a sustainable level, we wont survive.
Where that leaves us will be determined by the sort of players that will work for lower wages.
If we end up in the National League or lower, then tough.

The irony of fans considering spending more money to help their club and a sport that is awash with money.
If Rovers or any other club don't have a worst case disaster plan then that's hard luck!
Perhaps if all income wasnt spent on wages, I'd have some sympathy.
For that reason, I'm out!

Just need Sunderland, Ipswich and Portsmouth to get in to the Championship and they will close the trap door on L1 and L2.

The gulf between each League gets bigger each year. It has to, as the money is distributed in such a way!
This then takes away the dream of promotion thus rendering football pointless.
It's why I've stopped watching.
The money in the game has improved stadiums (except ours), driven wages to a ridiculous level and given us more arm chairs supporters than ever.
I'd need some convincing to believe that we could sustain life in the Championship Or even the top ten of L1.
The silence from our leaders just makes things worse. Have we got a plan?

The only demonstration to affect the club is 11,000 in the ground watching for 3 home games on the trot - with 10,000 locked out demonstrating in the car-park that they cant get in.
They'd think about building a new ground then!
Until then, what's the point?

If it's on a par with Saracens RFC, then chuck em out and give them a Premier League points deduction as well.
If its clever work by accountants and within the rules (just) then they will appeal and win.
We were delighted when our mulit-billionaire owner arrived - imagine the embarrassment of Rovers being thrown out of the Champions League 😂🤣😂🤣
