Regardless of Buckrippers thoughts, the damage has already been done! Twitter, Facebook, local media & national media have reported the incident.
Regardless of the outcome, the club has been linked with a racist slur. Potential customers, sponsors & buyers may see the Mansfield game, Braintree incident and this one as a step too far! Would you want your name associated with BRFC?
How about we shut the Blackthorn End for three matches and see the reaction of fans towards those stopping the majority from supporting the club! Then we'd see who thought it was ok!!!

Social media used for maximum affect! Can't see what is wrong with that!
We live in a world that wants news immediately! The keeper has used this well to publicise a diabolical night out (not just for him, but potentially any black player that visits The Mem).
If Rovers perform badly, plenty of fans on Twitter let them know about! If an Easy Jet flight is cancelled, they get it in the neck immediately via Twitter! Same goes for the praise Rovers fans received from the Eastleigh chairman!
You can't have it one way, and not the other.
This is the modern world...

Just a thought, before we string anyone up for this.............Everyone that was around the goal said the banter was good with the keeper for a lot of the game ? The guys name is Brown ? could this have been the same banter but miss heard ? Like "come on Browm you See you next tuesday get on with it"......... this could have been miss heard ? as "come on you b**** See you next tuesday get on with it" ? I am not saying this happened but it is possible ? Are you John Terry's solicitor?

Parkes was awful today - his positional play was diabolical! Passing was average at best. Slow, overweight? Too many kebabs or beers?

Another point gained!
Lee Brown stopped a attacking second half (until we conceded!). Dave Martin stopped playing, Tom Parkes positional sense is diabolical, Lockyer allowed the cross for the goal, Matt Taylor won't get 10 goals this season.
Would have left Cunnington on - strange sub!
Apart from that - very average and a few faults from last season creeping in!
Improvement and three points Tuesday and we'll be back on track!

Good to see Puddy being given a chance by the fans! Do we ever learn! Give the bloke a cheer on Saturday - it might help him settle in!

When I was a kid, the the family friend who took me to watch the Rovers at Eastville used to count the number of columns/ paragraphs written about us and City in the BEP!!! One week he'd be moaning about the lack of Rovers articles, the next he never mentioned it!!! Must have been 50/50!!!
His other pre-match hobby was to badger Gordon Bennett and ask him when the new roof was going on the South Enclosure (after the fire)!!! I imagine he'd be badgering BSS now if he were still alive!!!

Love the tweet from Avon & Somerset! They'd probably make a lash up of policing that empty terrace! Still, double time on a Tuesday....................evening all!

If we continue to challenge at the top, Darrell Clarke will present the board with a challenge! If we have any ambition, the chequebook will be out in January (the start of, not the end!) and then we can hopefully kick on!!!
More chance of this happening if the crowds reach 7,000+!!!
Let's hope we are planning!!!

For me, the most remarkable thing about the support is the consistency. Am I wrong, or were we getting practically the same numbers in the third division? (Ok, League One if they insist. Weird.) I'm sure any other club would lose a lot of people after two relegations. You are correct! and I suspect our board have a choice - go full steam ahead and gamble on the UWE attracting bigger crowds or stick with a low budget football club with 6,000 fans and just make a bit of dosh!

Spot on Buckrippers!
The board have never accepted responsibility for the demise of our club!
We are still waiting for the director with IT skills! WTF!
When we hit the top six, the board need to be in a position to get all the fans on side - gather data, more ticket offers, do whatever it takes to build momentum. We have to have momentum once we hit L2. We have to get on a roll! A winning Rovers team will attract 7-8,000 at home.

Was thinking the same so would you prefer still being in league 2 and struggling or winning games and near the top of the league in the conference I no what I would choose looking forward to each game now. We may not have been struggling in L2!!! Glad the wasters are gone, and hope we return with this squad of players. Don't forget where we were when we beat Southampton 3-2 at St Mary's or Paul Buckle was right! Expectations.......
