The club needs to adopt a style of play and stick with it.
Youngsters don't just lump the ball up to a centre-forward any more. Do fans really want that? We can try and progress on the pitch as least.
Aside from "evolution" I know nothing about what we are trying to achieve - on or off the pitch.
As such, I don't go and watch as often as I used to.

If the gap to the bottom three remains at 16 or better it will be a good night!

A very nervy game on the home terrace to the right of the away fans.
Another great night watching Rovers.

Fancy that - old people not accepting things have changed.
Randall and Lambert upfront together for me.
Are we just realising that we cant compete with the footballing elite?

Tranmere have won 5 games all season, Southend 2 and Bolton 4.
They won't suddenly win 6 on the trot to over take us! We will be a L1 team next season.
15 points incoming:)

If you cant see what OC brings to our midfield, then you don't know much about football at L1 level.
Exactly the same as those who were happy for Lockyer to leave!
Wow!

I bought a season ticket when Wael promised us a new ground! Since we haven't got the new ground, I haven't bothered.

The lack of communication worries me!
Most fans should accept a reasoned approach to running the club. It should be done without debt and we end up where we end up.
If we can't afford a new ground, then tell us.
The chances of getting to the Championship and surviving are slim to nil.
That's modern football for you.
Take away the dream of promotion or a good cup run and football is done and dusted. It's why I don't go as often as I could.

Both DC and GC realised you cant play tippy tappy football in L1 and get promoted. It cost DC his job and GC very quickly instilled a kick and rush game which suits the likes of Tony Craig and playing with little width. We dont have the skill set for penetrating possession football and Craig can no longer play in a pair at the back, he doesnt have the legs for it anymore, not at L1 level. Garner better quickly wake up to that notion and start with coaching them in the final third. Any defender and midfielder worth his salt can go forward and back 5 years without actually making any progress. Someone mentioned GCs football earlier in the thread and did I enjoy it. Not for 90 mins no. But I enjoyed the 15 mins of shots on target per game as well as the goal or 2 that used to go in, as well as the 3 points that went with it. Now we are back to tippy tappy looking good in possession but losing every frigging game and not even getting anything on target let alone scoring a goal. But shouldn't we be trying to progress the way we play?

Coughlan is a tough bloke. There will be players and fans along the way that will think he’s a bully , some might even say he’s a bully, I wonder how many will stand up to him and call him a bully to his face. Footballers are young blokes who earn good money, they need somebody who’s got a strong character to keep them in check and make sure they’re working hard and earning that good money. GC may appear to be a hard case, but I was at Accrington last season early in his reign. At the end of the game he came across to see his family and the fans. Seemed like a genuine nice chap to me. And as much of a winner as DC. Are people confusing a man who expects his employees to do their job professionally with a hard-nosed bully? I may even make the effort to watch a home game soon having only seen two games this season!

Wait for the next Bristol derby - Bristol Rovers v Bristol City U23's - and then tell me how you feel about the Leasing.com Trophy.
Can't believe that 800-odd fans are still attending this woeful competition.

Player for player, this has to be the best squad we've had for 6-7 years.
