Anyone else remember those tiny black sweets called Imps? No, but my father used to have tiny black sweets in a little tin. They were very hot and they were called nigroids, as I recall. Strangely, they seem to have disappeared! Perhaps your imps were a rebranding of them? This has got away from the OP but Nigroids must have been a rival of Imps because they sound like the same type of confection, which I loved by the way. It looks like some other company is making them now, with a slightly different name: www.aquarterof.co.uk/mighty-imps-p-432.html These, along with Fisherman's Friends, and Victory Vs are the vindaloo and phall of the sweet world Little Imps were around long before political correctness, so no name change to them. But, using that as a lead in; the Lincoln Imps were also in existence long before political correctness started ruining day to day banter. If anyone is able to help them in any way, I hope they do.

That is not what he meant:
He obviously means there are managers of 91 teams in the Premiership, Championship, and t'other 2 leagues, and one at Bristol Rovers. They are the 92 lucky ones.

Morning chaps I hope you all got home safely from Dartford! I wanted to say how much I enjoyed the game yesterday as a Neutral (Dover fan) and How friendly and welcoming your fans was (was sat with about 30 Gas fans next to the dug out). To be honest that pitch was ridiculous yesterday and cannot believe the game went ahead. I look forward to having you come down to Crabble where with your respectable following could easily fit 2000 in the ground. Anyways I have written a little report into the game from a Neutrals perspective on the match (sorry didn't put you should of steam rolled Dartford) footballjourneyman.wordpress.com/2015/02/01/dartford-2-2-bristol-rovers-the-darts-share-the-spoils-with-the-pirates/It was Lockyer who put the ball through to Taylor and it was not sublime it was lucky to reach him,the defender should have intercepted. The game itself was ok first half and utter crap second half,if you found that entertaining you are easily pleased.
That is your opinion meadgas. It differs to the OP's but it does not make his wrong. You are rather belittling in your response. The OP has come here with his opinion and been very polite, surely he can expect polite replies, even if they differ?

Today: January, 17th 2015, he will have a new chant ringing around the Mem:
"U.T. U.T.B"
or, maybe, to suit our friends across the pond,
"Uuuu Tee Beee
Ad infinitum; no more words are needed because everyone will know what it stands for.

Very clever NAG: By posting a blank message, you are subliminally stating that there are no words to describe this young man. I like your style

As there were no games in the last two weeks Mr Sinclair has been involved in other things, viz, he jumped to the sun.
Now even he could not do that in one leap, so what he did was jumped from a standing position and then, as he reached the zenith of the jump, he jumped again, and then again at the zenith of that jump, and so on. By doing this he reached the sun in 24 hours. This included an 8 hour stopover when he slept on the clouds while he waited for nightfall; he obviously did not want to reach the sun in daylight because it would have been blinded by his brilliance and would have imploded, with disastrous consequences for us mere mortals. Once he had reached the sun, he tied his hair to a sunspot and abseiled back to earth.

Geoff Bradford is a MUST. He is the only player capped by England whilst a Rovers player. Smash and Grab (Bannister and Warboys but not necessarily in that order ) could be one table. Jackie Pitt for his long service to the club, starting as a player and ending up as groundsman.

With 2 weeks off, it would be a good time to work on getting understandings between our existing strikers.

In 2,000 years time, semi-intelligent ape-like creatures living South of the River Avon will worship him as their god. Will they have evolved to that level in such a short time?

Right, I have decided to grow a beard. I am 6 ft 1 so unlikely to get confused with the real beard, but it's the best form of support I feel I can offer Great idea! I think all female Gasheads should also grow beards in his honour.
STOP PRESS: ZZ Top's drummer has changed his name to Frank Sinclair and is in negotiations regarding wearing facial hair.

Taylor 5.5 Wall 7
Subs: Clarke 5 Trotman 6.5 Harrison Not on long enough to warrant a mark
DC 6.5 Got it wrong in the first place but was able to sort things out. If he can get it right from the start then maybe we can turn draws into wins. Ref 3 Gateshead 7

Imo Christmas is where the league starts to take shape. Its no longer early days and starts to get serious now. We need to keep the gap between us and Barnet the same if not closer before Christmas. Every point could be massive now so let's all push on together as one, fans and players We normally finish the season stronger then we start so I'm confident we can finish in the top 5. I'd probably take play offs right now but I've seen Barnet and grimsby still have to play each other twice and looking at our last month fixtures if we are there or there abouts come April im confident we have the easier run in so let's all give another big push before the new year and close the game with Barnet and stretch our lead from 6th. In it together lets pack the mem and the away grounds and get behind the boys as much as possible and help the team to as many points as possible starting with tuesday at Wrexham. UP THE GAS Great outlook on things so far. Yes, there is a long way to go but I think this team is still settling..........with good purpose.
