His Chairman can only pass on what he is told and IMO conducts himself well. Only time will tell what becomes of this takeover but the signs are there that we have a good set up to take us forward. Let's face it a few on here already have strong (negative) feelings against Steve hamer. I guess only time will tell if they are right or wrong.

If you don't like it or think it's too expensive then don't buy it. If less money is made then things will change, bitching on here won't make any difference.

I wouldn't be disappointed in the board, we've offered him a contract what we think is acceptable and he's worth. If Oxford are offering more then fair play to them but it's good that we won't be paying over the odds to keep players like we have been before. I suppose that's true, but if Higgs and Co. were still in charge, and said that they had offered a deal that they thought was acceptable and what they believe he's worth, I'm sure he'd receive a lot of criticism if we still lost Taylor. I think some people are too reluctant to criticise anything that WAQ and Co. do. That's because of how Higgs & Co managed the club over a period of time. Most fans had lost all faith in them. If the same happens with the current owners then they will also get criticised.

If this is the case (which I appreciate is all speculation at the moment) and we have to find a different site because the UWE deal isn't the best for the club then so be it. To progress we have to be self sufficient. This is the biggest deal in the clubs history so with how long we've already waited would an extra 3 years to get it right be the end of the world? Would it be the end of the world? Well it took a lot longer than 3 for ourselves or the sh**e to identify suitable sights in or around Bristol. Between us we've come up with 4 sites one of which at Ashton Vale was proved unsuitable and 2 of which were the current sites we both play at. Losing UWE and finding a suitable replacement isn't going to be as straightforward as missing out on one house and finding something similar available around the corner. I appreciate that is won't be easy but we do have a more professional and experienced people involved in this process now than we or the sh*te did previously. If we go to UWE and it isn't financially via in the long term does the process just then start again with higher costs?

Getting the Mem ready for another 3 years of service I don't know if you have any inside info but this wouldn't surprise me and if it is the case all the goodwill will have evaporated and a harsh reality will set in.

First question, why are the quarters not all the way up the shirt? We really must be doing well on and off the pitch if our moans are going to be about the quarters not going all the way to the top of the shirt. Bring back the Tesco bag kit I say

Does this mean that the blockers with UWE have now been resolved and he's being put in place as we're ready to go on the stadium.
Probably just wishful thinking but why not build on the perfect week.

We're in a fantastic position to really grow the club now. Excellent, ambitious manager already in place. So looking forward to stadium/training ground/academy developments over the summer and of course next season.
To think where we were a couple of years ago to where we are now really is unbelievable.
Well done to DC and all at the club.

If the Jordanian national bank wins, will look well dodgy. Hope Jury's win it,had a good promotion party in there last year. Let's hope their ticket doesn't make the draw, surely they could sponsor something else for the club, as even if the draw is completely genuine it'll still look dodgy and could well pit companies off from taking part next year. Regardless some impressive companies have entered the draw this time. Well done to all of them for paying up. Didn't stop owners in 2009. Longwell Green-based company N-Gaged became the proud shirt sponsors of Bristol Rovers' home shirts next season after a unique raffle at the Memorial Ground. N-Gaged bought six, £1,000 tickets for the draw – more than any other business taking part – to give themselves a better chance of taking the top prize. The training and recruitment company already has close links with the club. Secretary Antoni Watola is Bristol Rovers' director of finance and director Geoff Dunford is a former chairman of the club and still sits on the board. I know due to previous disappointment most want a new stadium yesterday. It may be blind optimism but I like the sensible approach the new board are showing rather than just throw money at things. A good infrastructure is the most important thing for me. Long term plans can look like Southampton, short term plans can look like Bristol Sports - Male Football division.

NHs time at the helm was a complete failure on and off the pitch. Not all of it can be blamed on other people. Not all of it can be blamed on NH either. Why do we have to have black and white ? Like life, a little bit of everything alter things, I expect even Hitler had some good ideas. I thought it was all John Ward's fault. I think some people still want to believe that as part of the NH master plan he got us relegated and into financial peril to unearth a millionaire to take us over. Some people will never criticize him however appalling his record as chairman was.

I decided to stop going following the relegation due to the disgusting way I thought the old board treated the fans. As soon as the old board left I went again. It was the only way I thought I could show my dissatisfaction. How did you find coming back? Had anything changed in your opinion? Definitely the optimism around the fans. The old board were very divisive for fans. I'm looking forward the a well ran club which future generations can enjoy. I really worried that Bristol Sport would take over in years to come. What a horrible thought.
