Told today that planning permission has been extended at the UWE. Can't confirm this, so wondered if you could find out. Hope so. Cheers Gasincider What you reckon for team tomorrow night then? I think: Andre Bola - Broadbent - Parts- Leads Sercs- lines - Clarke - Sincs Gaffers - Telford Only Bola and Telford from that lineup, the rest haven't been paid due to a rumpus with some builders

Full of guff is gasincider. Posts so much negative nonsense and creates bad vibes on here. Probably his own life is sh** and has nothing better to do. Would be quite happy if he just f**ked off altogether. If NH had been our owner now, what would you say then? My life is actually better now than ever. I follow my club all over the country and abroad and love it. You have openly stated on here that you would wish me to * off altogether. I'd prefer you to say that to my face, but you probably have to go to school tomorrow. Moderators, as BS5 has been banned for using a version of the f word shouldn't GGMI also be banned? Further more he has insulted my lifestyle and issuing veiled threats. How does he know whether or not I have recently lost a family member, and my life would therefore be sh** at the moment? Hence why I would not resort to that with her. I thought the rule was attack the post not the poster. Can you please remind her of that as I have not resorted to that. BS5 was banned for threatening other forum users I thought, builders mates eh ?

But also more than happy to meet up with anyone and talk this through about mine and others concerns and perhaps you could also share some of the abuse on the date ,this might separate the men from the warriors (keyboard type). I won’t waste my breath though 🤔 I can't imagine being any more enlightened after meeting you, unless you have some secret documents ?

It's not rhetorical at all. The questions are clear and reasonable and one of them can be answered "yes". Surely you can see that putting up an unattributed quote, which does not explain anything about the reasons behind non-payment, does not add to our knowledge of the 'facts'. I don't think you help yourself in getting abusive to people who question what you've written. You chose to post what you did, and you must have expected people to respond in ways that you might or might not like. If you read the original post there are more than one company involved with the Colony that haven’t been paid , not sure how I’m supposed to know when they ( the contractors don’t know theirselves) , also not sure I was abusive in anyway perhaps furnish me with the facts of that . Sounds like a lot of people haven't been paid and are all in touch with one another. And they want to deal with it by you informing us on a forum. Are you their legal representative ?

But still unclear, to me, and you have not clarified as far as I can tell, why they are not paying (in full) the amount supposedly agreed? Can you confirm : a. They were not happy with the standard of the work? or b. They can’t afford to pay or c. Some other reason Surely that’s not a difficult question to answer? None of those you’ll have to ask Dwayne sports why they haven’t been paid because let’s be honest if they( the contractors) don’t know then how would I know why they haven’t been paid ? Yours is a rhetorical question fella, not sure of your agenda. Oh so they can afford to pay ? Maybe then there is a dispute and the contractors are using these forums to apply pressure. Is this a 'fact' ?

Facts ? Some bloke posts something on an internet forum, minus sources, and suddenly it's a given ? Sorry, not for me .

I care not how he talks to those fools, it's how he manages the club and the players that matters. Sure, it's his job to talk to them and therefore communicate with the fanbase but it's his style and I'd rather he was himself than trotting out the usual clichés. Contrast his interview style with those Radio Bristol City morons with speaking to him in person or other videos at engagements and you'll see a marked difference. DC likes to give little away to the opposition, I'm sure that his attitude to his interviewers reflect how he feels about their purpose.

Supply and demand I suppose. He could face stiff penalties if caught though, it's not going to be hard to track him down if ifollow or whoever decide to crack down on it. bit of a d’oh moment for using your Facebook page with all your details on it. Pretty sure you can go to prison for that stuff. More likely though they’ll just take a big fine. If it takes money away from the club though that’s a bit annoying. I'm not sure those Facebook groups contain the brightest of our fanbase tbh...

The lottery ? 10 million would clear some debt then 3 or 4 quality players with signing on fees plus big wages for 2 years would clean most lottery winners out pretty quick after actually buying the club. Unfortunately we'll have to be patient and accept evolution as billionaire's like Lansdown aren't our current owners. From our humble position steady growth is the most prudent and sensible True Wael is apparently only half, give or take £100m, a billionaire! www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rich-list-how-wealth-bristol-3330More importantly though, it's not about how much you have as about how much you're willing to p1ss up the wall. In Lansdowns case you still should consider ffp and sustainability. Had he pulled the plug at any point in the last 5 years you do wonder how soon it would have crumbled there. At our stage of 'evolution', I'm not sure a non sustainable model would be in our long term interests. So yeah, I'm still perfectly happy with Wael and our manager.

I don’t think this is anything like the ragbag of the twerton days at all. If our budgets mid table league 1 and we’re mid table in league 1 then that’s about right in terms of where we are. We’re not a massive club in the division like Sheff UTD were or Bolton were but we’ve pretty much always been an average league 1 club but at least now we’ve got things going on behind the scenes to bring us up to scratch for the first time in my 30 odd years watching us we’ve got a board that not only want to improve things like facilities and back room staff but have actually got the money to make it happen and are making it happen. It’s not going to happen over night but the steps are being made to ensure the clubs not run and I quote Lennie Lawrence “ like a pub team “ any more. Patience is needed , something football fans seem to have little of these days. How do you know they've got money to make it happen, we've seen no real proof that's the case? Seriously if one of us won the lottery and bought Rovers would we mess about only allowing them a mid table budget, or would we splash out a bit more so we could at least have a season challenging for a top 6 place? The squad to me at present would probably lose to last season's, how's that evolution? The lottery ? 10 million would clear some debt then 3 or 4 quality players with signing on fees plus big wages for 2 years would clean most lottery winners out pretty quick after actually buying the club. Clarke and his usual crap tactics and formation. Time to say bye bye. Players look completely watered of with his antics and lack of experience. Sadly as said above a one player team, which come Jan we will loose. Then what?? No

One day, someone will write a sitcom about this club. Hmmmmm.... Yeah one about relegation to the conference called 'only O'Toole's and horses'......Last of the Summer Whine. City already have one starring Gary and Lee Johnson, Father Ted

The aim, if you're at all interested, is to create a sustainable club that doesn't rely on outrageous donations. Probably a completely alien concept to teds such as you Fairly sure that’s what BCFC are aiming for too. AG is now generating income from many non football related streams As for outrageous donations, there aren’t many clubs that generate a profit so all owners have to dip into their own pockets, or take out a Wonga loan to fund a shortfall. Shortfall ? Hundreds of millions !

Also another difference is that the al qadis are bringing investment into the country that will benefit the local area, Landsdown is taking profits elsewhere so he doesn't have to pay tax, completely unethical and no comparison between the two. Not entirely sure, but I’m fairly confident that, to date, SL has done a little bit more for the City of Bristol than WAQ. Not sure we'll win an appeal, I've not seen it frame by frame yet but if the striker is first to the ball and Slocombe makes no contact with it I think it will be classed as a foul, contact or no contact. That may be but does it result in a sending off if their player dived, which he clearly did? Ref was conned. Doubt it, the striker would claim that he touched the ball past the keeper, who went to ground, and that he was avoiding being taken out by a mistimed tackle.
