Seemed like a weird kit clash with us in our home white shorts.
Great finish by Ellis although I must admit he looks just offside.

I do get why some people are critical of him because at times last year, he just didn't get into games at all. But he's been given another chance by DC and I'm going to judge him by what he's doing now this year. From the three games ive seen, (Charlton, Cambridge, Bury) he already looks a more mature player and on saturday, the 433 shape with Nichols and Bodin supporting looked to suit his game. You couldn't fault his work rate in any of those games and some of his link up play was very good. My only criticism would be that he needs to be a bit more aggressive inside the box and show more desire to get into better scoring positions. Lets not forget, he's only 23 and still has his best years ahead of him. I respect your opinion but the things you are saying I have been saying every season and wonder how many times you can say them befote enough is enough. Last season at the start it looked like he was going to improve but he's not progressed on from then tbh. Certainly can't see any improvement so far this season. He hasn't looked out of place in the team this year. He's not a weak link in the side. If people think we need more strike options then fine but that shouldn't be a reason to refuse to acknowledge all the good things he is doing! I've seen plenty of posters on here who were critical of DC chopping and changing the team too much but then the same people aren't willing to give players a run in the team to find form. We're only 4 games into the season! The lads doing fine

.....& yesterday Ellis looked about 10 times the player Beckford is & far more important within the game than Ajose. I say we leave DC to make decisions on players & contracts and let Ellis get on with proving his worth. Finally - Padstow - you are right - DC IS the best manager we have ever had, his record suggests that & he is doing a great job Beckford held the ball up a few times, brought others into play and scored a good header, but of course Harrison looked 10 times the player. Trololol. Beckford got bullied by our back two and looked static for most the game. Good header for the goal but did sod all else. Ellis looked much more fluent and you couldn't fault his work rate.. Why do people refuse to give him credit? He's had a steady start to the season

Careful Steve. If you don't express sainthood with Browner and Locks you might get some abuse. Much as I saw it, except I don't see what Lines brings to the party any more. Sercombe is such quality Lines is just excess baggage in my opinion. I'd put Broadbent in alongside Sweeney, and leave Lines out. That gives us an extra threat in the air from corners and free kicks, whilst Broadbent is also pacier than Sweeney. It could be a good year to grow him into the position so we no longer need Sweeney. Who would you play out of the two on the right side of the CBs then? At the moment, right back looks our weakest position at the back so having no natural right footed CB to help cover isn't going to help the situation imo. I thought Lines did well yesterday sitting deep and dictating the pace of the game. When he went off we didn't seem to control possession as well. Agreed Sercombe looks a top player!

Right, I have read every post and not massively technically conversant. I have an IMAC and iPAD. I am UK based but do spend time quite a bit out the country, I have no residence abroad. Currently home in the UK. How can I get games on my IMAC/PAD. Which VPN do I download that will work with MAC, everything seems windows/android based? Do I need another internet browser other than safari? TunnelBear will work

I'm still worried that harrison and Nichols don't seem to look like scoring though. Great win today we'll happy but we can't rely on midfielders and defenders to score enough most games. Gafney and Telford to start next game perhaps ? Both Nichols and Ellis had some half chances today and contributed to a decent performance. I thought both played well. If we hadn't of switched off in the last couple minutes then I doubt want people would be wanting to change a team that had dominated for the majority of the game

Could we have reasoned discussion after the game rather than the usual tinters v moaners BS? Don't be daft, were obviously gonna win the league now!

Watching on ifollow.
We've dominated. Created plenty of chances and look by far the better team. Frustrating that we've not found the break through yet but so many positives to take from that half and some great all round play at times.
Lines sitting deep with Ollie and Sercs doing the pressing in midfield. Nichols and Ellis interchanging well too.
If we keep that up second half we'll be leaving with 3 points, no doubt about it!

Bodins first touch let him down. Should of scored! Wouldn't hurt for him to have a poor couple of games before the window closes, as long as someone else steps up and does the business... step up Sercombe, UTG! No one wants to lose him but I'd rather him play well and we win because of it!

Poor control from BB, should've hit it first time. Great work by Nichols and Ellis though. A goals coming
