I think we need 2 strikers to replace him. Exactly, we were skating on thin ice as it was with JCH- if got injured in the first few games we could have been buggered, as it is we have left ourselves with no real league experience at all up front. Imo we need a marquee striker and then a second choice who can reliably chip in between 7 and 10 goals. But teams with far bigger budgets are after players like that. Marquee striker, when has that ever worked for us ? Even Lambert was getting dogs abuse the first few months. A nice underwhelming signing please BG will do, yes the natives will kick up a fuss but those ones have been better for us in the past.

This idea taken and adapted from today's BBC football website what is the best ever individual performance you have seen from a Rovers player? Maybe... Smash and Grab at Brighton Cureton at Reading Ansi at Plymouth in the Cup Junior against Yeovil, he was unplayable that night him against 4 or 5 defenders! :awesome: Second that, unbelieveable that night he was

What a vile negative page 158 is turning out to be. And the other 157 are different? It’s all about opinions, I hope I’m wrong and everything turns out for the best. But I just can’t see it really, very worrying times. 8th in league one with hopefully a takeover and new stadium on the way, really worrying. Go speak to Notts Co, Wrexham and Chesterfield fans go compare.

Okebourne Gas I hope you've got what you wanted from this thread, I wonder if you were happy when Sainsbury's pulled the plug so you could use it as a cheap shot against the board. I know you're in the minority at the club who'd think this way, let alone argue the same laboured point over 4days.

With that attitude I'm glad I don't know you in real life. Congrats, technically you're right well done, but why you feel the need to write out that rhetoric on the Gas forum is distasteful imho. Don't see the need for your underhand comments to be honest, it's called a difference of opinion, I don't know gashead79 personally but I don't see why you would question his attitude over his post ? Because I and many others find it distasteful that people like yourself in the minority defend Sainsbury's business practices on this fans forum. I accept everyone will have a different moral stance,me and my family will never give a penny to their business for life each to their own I accept that. But to constantly argue this subject to death on a clubs forum who have 5yrs and countless millions is poor imho.

Amazes me that gas heads on here in the minority mind defend Sainsburys. If it wasn't for Lee Mansells penalty those debts probably would've sent us to the wall and we wouldnt have a club anymore. If it wasn't for Gareth Taylor's miss from 3 yards... Or Northamptons late goal... Sainsburys are a massive company who got massive by making the correct business decisions in a competitive market. Our club has been run in a shambolic fashion and the BoDs watertight BS and stringing everybody along with appeals etc is nobody's fault but their own. How we cheered when MT scored goals after shaking hands on a deal elsewhere! With that attitude I'm glad I don't know you in real life. Congrats, technically you're right well done, but why you feel the need to write out that rhetoric on the Gas forum is distasteful imho.

The biggest gripe for social media for me is the holier than thou attitude, kicking someone when their down culture it breeds. I'm betting that half of the preachers on here at one point in their life have driven to a game and had 2 pints, that's over the limit. Parkes has been a great servant for this club over the last 4 years, guess that gets forgotten about when you want to take the high horse.

Not sure about the differences between standing and seating but if you order an adult season, when recieved ring up the club shop with the ref no and your details and they'll send out a form for young pirates and details for the free ST. Quite a simple process.

Given how 'immoral' Shamesburys have acted throughout this process, how would you react if gasheads started actively shoplifting from their stores, it is wrong and immoral of course but I guess it's the only way the little man wins against these corporations.

Bit of a joke really with only a month to go. For those who've pre planned trips and travel it's a water take doing it so close, these sorts of changes should be made pre season to avoid inconvenience. Any train buffs reckon you could use train tickets with a letter noticing of the fixture change for use of travel?
