I stand behind the dugout, and wholeheatedly condemn anyone shouting that kind of abuse. However, I did not hear this. I cannot say it didn't happen, but I didn't hear this. Is it possible something was misheard? Is it possible it is brought up to deflect from a team that went down, as if shot by sniper, anytime an opposition player breathed on them?

They went down so often and theatrically even the 4th was laughing at each tumble, half way through the 2nd half.

Thought Id do a poll to see what people thought about it, me personally Im in the camp of believe there shouldn't have to sit in your designated seats Intrigued, would you sit just anywhere in the theatre, or cinema, if likely to be full? What about your seat when we get to Wembley? What about on a train where you may end up sitting in a seat already reserved, and may be a less abled prrsons'. Airplane, where sitting in the wrong seat could see you offloaded if a fuss was made.

It's an ICD, which is slightly different to a pacemaker. It does nothing until such times it has to deliver a shock to start the heart, like a defibrillator, whereas a pacemaker is working nearly all the time to regulate the heartbeat. I believe it is similar to the devices implanted in Christian Eriksen and Fabrice Muamba.

Have been in touch with Pablo today, and he wanted me to express his thanks for everyone's well wishes. He is in good spirits and hope's to be back playing quite soon. He apologises for not responding himself, but he currently has a few things to take care of. Cheers gasheads.

The Evil Post made out as though it was Rovers fans? I wasn't there, so know nothing about this, was watching on iFollow, but guess I must be a bit deaf, as I didn't hear it (unless I was making a cup of cocoa).

The CoL crisis is why I am gobsmacked that the EFL haven't made iFollow available to away fans only. Obviously would need to be a club member somehow, but come on it can't be beyond the whit of man to sort this, surely?

Rossiter certainly needs game time, unless he is injured (...again) Rumours going round that he took his dog out for a walk yesterday, so imagine he’s out till late Sept-early Oct. Blimey, that's some dog walk. Poor dog.

Perhaps someone reads this forum???
Following on from Saturday's match against Forest Green Rovers, the club would like to address the issues concerning access for our Season Ticket holders.
In the weeks leading up to the game, the club spent time communicating with our Season Ticket holders in order to confirm their access requirements for the first game of the season.
During the week of the game, testing was carried out on season cards, paper tickets and e-tickets to ensure our gates and control points were ready for the return of fans.
Ahead of the game, the club was confident that we would get everyone into the ground and into their new areas, where required. On the day of the game, this was unfortunately not the case.
Following a full inquiry by the club, which concluded yesterday with a meeting of our ticketing partner and our access control partner, we are now aware that an element of the setup on the turnstiles and season cards was not carried out, which led to a number of people having to queue at the ticket office to get a paper ticket.
We were disappointed to learn that such a task was not carried out, and it left the club unable to defend itself from ticketing errors across all turnstiles, leading to the queues at the ticket office.
Our ticketing and access control partners are working on the data for our Season Ticket holders to make sure that we are ready for the Sky Bet League One game with Oxford United next weekend. This will include all parties carrying out a site visit during the week of the game to test tickets, turnstiles and scanners.
We have had assurances that we will not see a repeat of the issues that occurred before the last game. We'd also like to apologise for any inconvenience caused on the day and express our thanks to supporters for their patience and assistance.
However, we would also like to remind fans that verbal abuse and online abuse of club staff members will not be tolerated and will be dealt with by the club. Our staff are here to help you and deliver the best matchday experience possible.
We would like to thank our fans who were asked to move ahead of last weekend's game; the Safety Advisory Group was happy that we demonstrated the reduction in numbers in the Thatchers terrace.
We still ask that fans respect the yellow areas in the gangways and at the back of terrace areas, for the safety of all fans inside the stadium. If we continue to do this, we can ensure that our capacities are increased, allowing more fans back to The Mem, and enjoy the game from the areas of the ground that they have done previously.

There's a couple of ideas in just a few minutes, but no one knows if any have been considered, as the supporters are being kept in the dark. We don't want to run the club (most of us couldn't afford it) but most of us want to be able to help in some way.

With the current status quo, I can't see Rovers having a new stadium any time soon. That's not to say I don't believe WAQ can't deliver a new stadium, it's just that by keeping supporters in the dark, none of us know what is or isn't happening. I guess with the current regime, there may be a dozen or so people looking at this seemingly insurmountable problem. There are many supporters who have skills and expertise in many areas, some of which could be relevant or even helpful to the club, but without understanding the state of play, thoughts and ideas are just going to waste.
If there was c9K supporters mulling over a problem, who see thigs differently and who were encouraged to raise suggestions or give the benefit of expertise, we could be in a better place, or further down the line.
There is very little affordable land available of the size to build a stadium and/or complex.
One thought I had, is could it be possible to do a land swap (with a cash adjustment/incentive) with the Civil Service Sports Club, just over the road? Their site is too big for them, and the upkeep is massive. If this had been investigated when Ford departed Muller Road, then a stadium complex was feasible with entrances and exits on different roads.
I'm not saying my idea is a go'er, but it is an idea that could have been looked at, fans and locals can sometimes see things a tad differently; it just requires those that run the club to be open minded and actively seek ideas.

In Mr Gorringes statement, I think I must have missed the words:
"we are sorry for the aggravation and confusion we have caused with our conflicting previous emails, this is our way forward...."
it's not a difficult concept to apologise, and then offer a way forward. Becoming disenamoured with the club comms to be truthful.

I think we just want clarity from the club. It is turning into a fiasco with different fans being told different things from different people at the club and TicketDisaster. I have tweeted WAQ, TG and DB, none have responded. Don't know why I thought they would, but it is disappointing. The Rovers Twitter admin are still posting stuff to try and get us to buy more stuff (mugs for example) but everyone at the club is steadfastly refusing to comment publicly. Really getting p155ed off now. Twitter is a bit hit and miss as to whether they see it. I find that email is usually the best way to get a response. Perfectly true, except that it appears all the individual email addresses hove now been removed from the clubs' website.

Which are great until some idiot sneaks up on you and pulls the rubber gromit out. Your Birra Moretti goes all over your Crocs. Luckily I wear socks with my Crocs. Pulls the rubber gromit out? Does Wallace know about this? If I remember correctly, there was a communication from the club, that we were going to use this type of beer mug, but I am guessing that never happened? (I don't know 'cause I drink out of a bottle).

Just seen a reply from Clare by email to one of our supporters stating there is a problem with existing cards not being Re-Activated in time for the first 2 home games and that is why existing season ticket ( card holders ) have had this email. She has stated existing cards will not work forthe first 2 home games and the club are working on it. Make of that what you will. Wonder why it takes 2 weeks to rectify - if at all? You would think that after 24hrs of silence, either an email to explain, or comms on the social media platforms is not beyond the whit of man?

Further more, fraud is a lot easier with emailed tix than cards. With a card there is just 1 entity, whereas with an emailed ticket, any unscrupulous person can email the same ticket to one/several/hundreds. This is partially what happened in the recent Champions League final.

Completely appreciate that one of the reasons people support Rovers in general is because we enjoy ‘authentic’ football rather than the commercialisation of the premier league - which includes traditions such as physical tickets at the Mem. It’s clear the reason for e-tickets wasn’t for fan demand. Appreciate this could have been communicated better from the club. However, it is undoubtedly the future of football and all venues. This and going cashless reduces queue times, is environmentally friendly and improves the matchday experience. It also opens the opportunity to more easily transfer tickets to friends online then have to drive to pass them to friends in the week. It also means that they may be able to introduce a ticket exchange so fans can officially resell tickets at a pro rata rate and more fans can watch the Gas this year (which is becoming more difficult) and ST holders can recoup money for games they can’t go to. What could work is if they used the upcoming season as a hybrid season between the 2 to give some an opportunity to get used to the new method. The new staff over the last few years have improved the off-field running of the club and it would be great if they could be given a chance to implement the change. For once, we are trying to be ahead of the curve instead of 20 years behind other clubs like before. UTG. I get your reasoned arguments, but, we were very definitely told our ST cards would work, just a few short days ago. There are still some in society, that are unable to use a phone, or have computers and printers. My disabled brother for one - there does not currently seem to be any alternative provision. You case for allowing the club to resell tickets, is actually easier using the card system, we have just never implemented it. Also when a ST holder purchases a ticket for cup game/friendlies etc, they can just as easily (if not more so) be electronically available using a card, after all the card doesn't hold the tickets, the main computer system does, the scanning of the card just queries the system to check if a paid ticket is in place.
