Reduce ticket prices for the rest of the season?

lesson for next season and not get taken for a ride. If results dont matter. Then it dont matter if we dont go.

I thought that kid a quid, buy one get one half price etc only happened when the Board were badgered by the SC reps into doing something for the fans.

Seem to remember BSS saying as much off the record.

Not sure who is going to recommend they cut prices now (especially as the marketing team only preach to the converted anyway).

I don't think the possibility of introducing loss leading offers to try and gain potential new young fans for the future is very much on the FC agenda.

You're probably right mate, but charging at the current rates to basically see a team get demolished every week while a rookie manager finds his feet doesn't exactly inspire non-season ticket holders to give up their Saturday's. 

Reduce the ticket prices, charge next to nothing for the kids, and at least the stadium will stay half-full. Attendances are going to plummet otherwise. The message from the club is that this season basically doesn't matter anymore. 

Only 6 homes left including Sunderland and Ipswich so although we will inevitably get some low gates the overall average attendance probably won't go down over those 6....

Us season ticket holders have already lost out with Bury being kicked out of the league
Really thinking about if I'll renew next season it doesn't seem a very happy place at the moment

Personally I go down to the gas to see a competitive game of football, meet with people and to see us try and secure a good result, that’s still going to happen no matter where we are in the league

I would also much rather be in the situation of having nothing to play for than be fighting for our lives to avoid relegation to the basement division. This time last year we had 8 less points and were in the relegation zone, for me I’d take slightly quieter match days over that any day.

The only way I think S.T holders may feel alright is the club offering a deal for the two CAT A games mentioned above. I was a little shocked the Sunderland game is only 4 days before the Ispwich game. So a terrace ticket for both games in West encl will cost £48 plus costs if online . And a North terrace will be £44 plus costs online. I assume stand tickets will be around £54 for both.  I think nearly £50 quid to stand on the side to watch Two divison three games is a bit too much.


So why not do : Buy two CAT A  terrace tickets £ 40 . Buy two CAT A stands £46 . I know a lot of fans who like the ' BIG GAMES' but can't afford two CAT A increases in 4 days. I say this as usually CAT A games are spread across and a CAT A package deal might put extra revenue on the gates . Currently : for both games it's over 20% increase !!   

And people complain on here that Wael won’t put money into the club 😂

And that's the sad thing. We could of albeit a slim chance of leaving this division in a upwardly motion and potentially playing to sell out crowds for these last few games. Instead we are trying to hawk our ware to primary schools and anybody with nothing to do on a sat afternoon just to make it look like a crowd. That's what so depressing about the way this has been done.
