Playing in the champions league against PSG. Sung onto the pitch as a local hero. Demand a transfer some said 😆 He’s building up his match fitness so he’s ready to join us on loan again in Jan. oooh I do like that

Nice thought but who would he replace? I don't think he'd fit into our team and why change a winning team anyway? He'd get on the bench.

Ollie Hulbert scored two for Barry Town, Josh Ginnelly won a pen for Swansea, Ollie Clarke scored for Mansfield yesterday. Coughlan and Maher are working minor footballing miracles keeping Newport and Southend alive. I take an interest in how old ex players and staff are doing. It just so happens that Anderson is the once or twice in a generation type player, like Lambert, Martyn or Biggs that you can see that they are miles better than anyone else and as he is playing in the top league and with international interest he is bound to be talked about more than a lot of others. Just be thankful Amobi sent him our way! Not sure he's once a generation player for a Premiership club and he was never one of our own players to compare him with Lambert or Biggs. Probably Dennis Bailey is a better comparison. As you say it was just luck we got him on loan and we didn't get a winger like the one from Palace, who quit half through his loan spell. He came on late and dribbled past more people than the "best in the world" Mbappe! I'm not sure Ollie Clarkes goal for Mansfield deserves comparison! Why does it matter if luck comes into it?

Nathan Jones/Alex Neil can’t remember which, deemed him not ready for championship football. That’s hardly luck, just an abysmal piece of decision making by a second division manager.

He'd have to fight for a starting spot but a seat on the bench would be a huge positive for his continued development.

Anderson scored his penalty in last night's FA Cup win. Quansah won a cup medal last weekend, surely helps us when we ask about loan signings from top clubs.

I doubt it makes any difference, if it did, then surely Newcastle &/or Liverpool would have sent more youngsters our way this season, probably how much we will contribute towards their wages is the biggest reason, or how many games we'll agree to them playing!
