Just come on as sub in Brighton game (61 minutes) as injury replacement.If he lasts the full 1/2 hour that will probably more than double his on pitch game time in the Premier League this season.

He must have more minutes than that. I’d have thought he’s featured in at least half their games - always seems to get on when I look. |

Pretty much been playing last 5-10 minutes for the whole season. Only time he came on earlier he got subbed as goalie got sent off. iirc he might have started that game

Probably better for his development to play more games but he's been on the pitch for his home town club when they got to Wembley and now when they've virtually got into the Champions League. Must be brilliant for him personally.
I still think he's much better coming in off the left than centre mid. We all know the lad is quality and will have a great future.

He has had a few injuries as well, which has held him back. |

My bad,he’s actually now seen 235 minutes of Premier league action after last nights game.Just from memory I thought most of his appearances were only 2 or 3 minutes for every appearance. He’s managed to sneak a fair bit of game time in under the radar. If they get their CL place nailed hopefully he’ll get a 90 minute run out in the final game and then gets more opportunities next season 🤞 |

Weird that he was trusted to start v Liverpool of all teams but doesnt seem to be against anyone else. Im pretty sure he is still a better player now than he was 12 months ago but may get loaned to champ or lower Prem as Newcastle are likely to spend in the summer.

4 goal contributions from him this preseason he looks like a he’s really stepping up another gear. Been playing as their 10 and player between the lines and he’s looked really sharp. Can’t believe the player we all watched will be playing in the Champions League this season.

Just signed Harvey Barnes and they have signed another good midfielder already. Might see him heading out on loan, if they strengthen further. I expect they will look at him, until the end of the window. |
