Correct me if wrong but apart from Lawrence all outfield players are now over 21 then count in the numbers. Would mean 12 + Clarke/Ward/Grant.
At least 5 slots available for over 21 year olds then.

(After all, TW had been working a few windows ahead!!) Although iirc we recruited lots of players, just not the right ones! ☹️ I’ll settle for recruiting the right ones even if we go to the last day, which we probably will. UTG! |

If no one contracted leaves then we need minimum of 6 or 7. Probably 8-10 min depending on departures.

Just because no signings have been announced doesn't mean that there has been no early business agreed. All kinds of reasons to keep it quiet. Firstly players contracts don't end until the 30th June and so new contracts don't start until 1st July . Public announcements alert your competitors to availability and also make you look stupid if the player back tracks before the contract becomes legally enforceable. Secondly transfer window doesnt open for another 14 days - wait until deal is done before saying too much. Club also wants to make maximum publicity and create excitement of new signing and people need to be available for interviews . Perhaps the player is on holiday now- particularly if he was in the play offs - and is not available for comment. |

All we can do is hope that the new players are of decent quality as there are plenty of players but getting the right ones is the most important. Early days yet |
