June tomorrow. Early business was promised. So far, just Josh Grant added to the list. News coming in soon as players return from their hols? I'm not a JB basher, but I've come to believe in not believing what he says, mid season he was saying in the summer we just need a few tweaks, come the end we need twelve new players.UTG. |

I don't think by 'early business' it was meant the first week of June. Most players and staff will be on holiday, very few signings being announced at this time other than players who have re-signed for their clubs. Wouldn't expect to see any 'new' faces for at least another 2-3 weeks.

Thing is, what he says is probably correct but maybe he forgets we are not a prem club with prem money. He said 12 new players needed, i reckon we will see maybe 5 plus loans. Let’s see |

Wasn't that always going to be more or less the case, given that half a dozen loan players returned to their clubs, and the likes of Jaakola, Coutts & Whelan were all retiring? |

Noticed in that article Piercy mentioned Williams? I think that was just a typo in the paragraph heading as he refers to Edwards in the article, I guess it's easy to mix up two Welsh sounding surnames! As far as CB I assume that position wasn't mentioned as nobody on here has found out any information so far which they can then publish! |

Although we all expect 5-10 new faces over the coming months, we are in a decent place squad wise for the start of pre-season. Ideally you can field 2 teams from the squad without a huge impact on quality. We probably aren't far off that for a team just consolidating again. Obviously much more required to challenge for play offs.
EXCEPT - centre backs. With just Connolly in the building, we could really do with 1 or 2 new faces before pre-season starts in this position. Taylor and Gibson look unlikely, so hopefully we have some good names lined up.
