As mentioned a number of times, the EFL regulations define the cut-off date for under 21s as the 1st of January in the year in which the season starts. For this season it is 1 January 2023. Therefore a couple on the list will drop out. The squad numbers also exclude goalkeepers. |

Looking a little heavy now, especially with maybe one more to come in. Time to see some [Loaned Out]'s True, but if you isolate loanees and long term injuries and then split defence into full backs and central defenders and midfield into defensive and attacking, it'll balance up a bit more. I will do that once the window (slams) shut. The Match Day 18 shows we are a little heavy though, once everyone (other than Rossiter) is available. Bench will be players like Friend, Hunt and Grant that can come on in multiple possessions and formations. an example 18 of Cox Hall Wilson Taylor Crama Hoole Gordon Hunt Friend Woods Ward Bogarde Evans Collins Thomas Brown Sinclair Marquis Still leaves the likes of McCormick, Finley, Connolly, Gibbons, Vale and Loft - as well as Jones and Lawrence not even in the match day squad! Gonna be great for us but tough for Joey etc to manage! |
