So adding LT to the list means 6 of the possible 12 squad additions are complete (?). With another possibly announced tomorrow i would imagine the rest will mostly be loan players. Definitely need at least 1 more centreback. According to the colour key Trev should be red shouldn't he, as he is still going to be with Shamrock for the whole of their season. I still love Trev and follow his progress. |

You are right, assumed Loan had ended but according to Transfermarket it ends on 30th November '23. Updated. |

I think we have plenty of flexibility to play different formations and we will see this during games and will depend alot on how teams set up against us. For me getting Rossiter back and keeping him fit is the most important thing in all of this.
With the signings we have bought in already and more to come with loans the work load for JR can be managed better than last season when we down the the bare bones for a while and he played alot of minutes before he broke down. With Ward Finley and even Grant as it stands who can slot in the role he plays this season is starting to look promising.

Definitely two more defenders for me, I'd rather stick with 4 at the back and keep Hoole as Right Back. Then as said above, GK, midfield and a young forward should be a minimum. With those who signed new contracts, that makes the 12 doesn't it? |

I'll be honest I'd already forgotten Luke!
Barnsley fans liked him as an impact sub, can see that being a big part for us too, we certainly look like having some options in the top half of the pitch. Expect another young striker / Josh Coburn to be added too.

Perm v Loans
I think we have already got 18 man squad of starters. No loans as of yet. Only 2 under 21's
Last season with under 21's on loan we fell short. I remember Joey acknowledged that. He also said more perms for this season.
If we are very serious about promotion I think in what ever position they are required it must be perms at least if not better than already here.
No signed exits yet but expect several at least, certainly Trev C I presume. AC or Loft perhaps?

There are only 2 squad numbers (1-11) currently freed up from last season. 5 (expect Wilson to claim this) and 11 (Brown possibly?)
Would like Hoole to take Connolly's no 2 shirt though as a CB in 2 is just wrong.
Any other pointless opinions about squad numbers out there?
Perfect line up should of course be
