I’m struggling to think about what is tin pot about have 3 new stands at the Mem?
I wonder how much it’s going to cost and how will it be structured against the club?

Sounds like a more realistic plan. If we can develop the three sides then eventually the West Stand will need to be done as well. Will be nice to have some certainty after decades without it. I, personally, like the idea of a re-developed Mem. The footprint is big enough for us. Be nice if we could get parking in as well somehow. (No idea how that happens). As for extra income I don't see why we can't have a hotel/conference rooms etc and other events. Concerts are given with restrictions - those at Ashton Gate have cut off times to allow time to empty and clear the area so why couldn't we do the same?

I've always thought about an underground' aswell as a ground level carpark where it currently is. May be a stupid idea but just a thought

Will be interesting to see how the east stand will be redeveloped will they extend it the full length of the pitch by seating at both ends of the existing stand move the stand back towards Muller road hench extending the north and south stands then making the west stand bigger imo all coperate boxes would be in the new east stand

And they have had concerts at the county ground as well

Locals organising a street party as we speak…. Yeah, the locals that don't want us, are now stuck with us for the long term. I'm sure they will be raising a glass of organic carrot juice to celebrate tonight. Post of the day 2 days running - Hugo’s back on form 😁

Always seemed the most realistic option, Decent 15-20,000 stadium will be ok for our needs IMHO

In the style of the south stand? Or will the South be rebuilt again? The South Stand is only good enough as a temporary solution, surely? Will look good when the seats are in, why do you say that out of interest?

The thing I like about this is we have certainty. No more pipe dreaming. They obviously think a redeveloped Mem can make the club sustainable.
As for the locals, maybe you shouldn't have protested so much against Sainsbury's.

Always thought this was the best option. They had some great plans for it about 10 years ago or so. Stand by stand

The South Stand is only good enough as a temporary solution, surely? I 100% agre with that. It is a shed. A good temporary solution whilst thatchers end is rebuilt. East Stand > North Stand > West Stand by the time they get back to the South Stand then that'll probably be another decade gone. As the club has always said in the past that redeveloping the Mem is not viable, how has it suddenly become viable for the new owners?
