Needs to be.
There too many in this squad that are either not good enough or made of glass.

At this point in time -- Bearing guys still in contract. I'm not sure I'd keep any of them.

This is bloke who has had a career, just come off a promotion in front of 15,000 every week and doesn’t really want to do it anymore. We need hungry captains all over the pitch, he ends it with “we have to keep on trying and see where we are” not re play offs, anything, just see where we are! He doesn’t hurt enough, he can’t stay fit either, I ask everyone to compare him to Tony Craig at the end of his career for us. x.com/official_brfc/status/1755010780150296758?s=48&t=bhN6HOKs1kzYSj3KfeKg9QHe’s not part of the rebuild and we can’t rebuild with pension pot signings like this.

Need 2 or 3 more leaders. With no Finley, we are too lightweight,

Someone up top with pace. We are a dream for organised defences who love a static forward.

Thing is Paul, hes not just a pension pot signing either. The bloke has only averaged 22 games a season his whole career. This is why we need a proper footballing department. To weed out fodder like this and not give 2 year contracts and actually look at their whole career rather than a swallow of a season.

All well and good discussing the rebuild but the absolute very first action for this summer should be a proper football recruitment man to head up a department. Until we get that we will just go round and round in circles every time we change manager.

And Steve I believe Wael Al Qadi would still own this club if Jennings and Barton were never allowed free reign on the till. I can name over 10 fraud signings, I say fraud as I’m convinced people were on the take and back handers but I’m but I’m not going down a bash them thread again. The manager got it wrong last night, quite badly I think. The weather forecast was clear to see, basically bringing a 19 year child was an awful decision over Thomas, we played with 10 men. That midfield needed a battler, Conteh isn’t a thug, we don’t have one when Finley is injured and Grant battles hard as well. It is what it is, a terrible squad with pension pots, sick notes and players simply not up to it.

Can't disagree with any of the comments here, but one thing I would say is that Wilson was recently regarded as our best defender. Just because he (and the entire team) had a bad game last night, I'm not sure we should write him off yet.

Complete over haul needed we are crap. Team to start next season WARD WILSON TAYLOR NEW THOMAS FINLEY CONTEH NEW EVANS NEW NEW the bulk of the spine is there, with players like Grant Ward, McCormick, maybe Hunt adding to the squad We need more pace and proper wing backs, I’m sure MT knows this No need for toys out of prams, MT has started the cull of the deadwood and I trust him to get the right players for the right positions At the moment his hands are tied, as we weren’t built to play his favoured 3-5-2 Judge him this time next season UTG

What deadwood as MT culled, not one player as left apart from the likes of Gibbons who were also going to leave this summer anyway.

No chance with either goal.

Glad someone else agrees with me on Mr Fitness, that interview last night was a total disgrace, an “experienced” player should at least show interest in the questions. I’d drop him, get Friend in instead, blokes a far better player, if another sick note, but at least plays like he cares.

We have 8 players contracted beyond this summer the lowest I can ever remember in 40 years . At least Joey didn't sign people like Bennett and blizzard and put them on 3 year contracts. I don't buy this " massive budget " Barton . Most are frees loans or contract up players. Anyway the club made the public statement " we have a top budget " let's see in the summer. We could have the biggest clear out in history as up to 15 will either return or contract end.

You do wonder why MT sent Wilson out last night given how poor he'd played, usually he sends out a player who'd had a decent game. Although how can you drop a right footer for a left footer? Connolly or Grant are the only fit replacements and those two are even worse than Wilson.

He seemed just as rooted to his line as Cox for both goals and was part of the defensive unit which conceded too seemingly soft goals, although I've not watch them back today as I can't face seeing the shocking defending again.

Well, unless we get business done early of course.
