Personally i'm gutted. Guaranteed 20 goals a season. I'm sure we'll sign some nobody from Palace's U23's instead who will be as weak as Fosters and as lethal as a marshmallow. Never been this unexcited as a Rovers fan in many many many years. Not really guaranteed, he's getting older all the time. Does he have the same motivation, is he as good as he previously was??? No guarantees in football, especially when players get over 30. |

I'm not sure why you are hung up on Exeter reserves. His only signing came from Grimsby and was a player that you previously named yourself. Let's see what the summer brings, before trying to guess what type of player he will sign. |

Let's see what Exeter ressies Taylor has lined up before you get too despondent. 😆 Noombe could be available now 😂. I'm not sure why you are hung up on Exeter reserves. His only signing came from Grimsby and was a player that you previously named yourself. Let's see what the summer brings, before trying to guess what type of player he will sign. Nombe and JCH together could be quite the front two. |

It was a shame he didn't sign last August, given how far we were up the garden path. If he wasn't going to sign for us this season I am glad he has gone elsewhere now so at least we can stop hoping that he would end up here and look at someone else.

JCH was never going to fit into our reduced wage budget, especially with Martin on the books. So I'm glad he's signed elsewhere early. I thought Grimsby was north of Cheltenham?? It's funny how Conteh said Taylor was a big reason for him signing. You choose to ignore comments like that, as they didn't fit into your agenda. |

Got to wonder what sort of side we are going to end up with.
Can see Evans leaving before window closes personally.
MT and GF really do have their work cut out for them.
Considering how disappointing last season was, do fear MT only going to find himself on receiving end as soon as we're struggling.

Surely if your going to criticise anybody at the club for JCH not signing it's the owners/TG, given that the move was b@lls up well before MT was appointed as manager or has everything always got to be MT's fault in your blinkered view? |

People seriously still think the ‘error’ in the summer wasn’t a deliberate pull of the plug?
Is is so that He was so keen to come back, we were so keen to bring him in, we could afford him, happy to break a transfer record for him, that now we miraculously can’t even bring him in on a free tranfer? And he moves somewhere even further away?

Do me a favour… Perhaps the owners have now realised owning Rovers costs more than they thought it would last summer, as there seems to have been a massive change from backing JB for promotion to deciding that we will remain a L1 side for the next 3 to 5 years, whilst developing our own players under MT. |

And then sell our striker for nearly a £1 million in the next?. Anyway it's in the pass now and this transfer split opinions . And it's not worth arguing about. |
